Funny how when people leave a company or retire, they seem to hope the worst for their former colleagues. I guess it makes them feel better about their decision if they see failure once they have left.
That's right. Ignore all of the undeniable facts and attack the poster. Keep it up, all is well.
Seniority is negotiable...like a crew meal.

Or maybe with a little distance comes perspective and clarity. Someone with nothing to lose or gain in this deal can be more honest with themselves and look at the situation unemotionaly. No one is wishing you the worst they are looking at the facts of the situation and telling you the truth. The truth is you have brought on the worst for yourselves.

How about looking in the mirror and seeing how the decision you have made for yourself has been a failure.

You repeat this every other day.... Boring and does not make it happen

And by the way it's binding by ratification
What part is decided by ratification? The seniority or the contract?

Think of it like this. You buy a 1/4 acre piece of land to build a house. You can build any kind of house you want as long as it passes the building inspector (negotiating with the company). But there are certain rules that you must abide by when you agree to the purchase and building permit. Lot set back, height restrictions, sewer ect. You can't go and build a house that will cover 1/3 of an acre just because you have a lot of money (the majority). You are constrained by the lot you bought and the rules you agreed to. (the Nicolau)

Go negotiate a contract. Vote all day everyday. Just realize that it is going to be constrained by the Nicolau. No stealing from your neighbors.

if you ever hope to get a ratified contract - then yes we are getting a do over.

Otherwise, enjoy the last 5years because that's all you'll ever have.
I don't hope for a ratified contract and you're not getting a do over.

I expect no more than what I have for the next 5 years because of guys like you.

The courts will tell us which seniority list we will use and the overwhelming probability is it will be the Nicolau Award.

DOH with C&R allows an East pilot to keep what we have brought to the table.....a lot of years of service while you boys were in diapers, Junior. At the same time it protects your positions that you currently hold until we retire in a few short years. I suppose that you can't see the greed in what you propose due to your Mesa background. It's all aboout you, eh?

breeze

...and now you're in diapers again, Senior...

Just as your chant of DOH (which has morphed into "negotiate") is boring and won't make it happen. The court will decide soon enough and one side or the other will have to suck it up. Odds are the east will have to suck it up. Looking forward to a resolution either way.
