Clearly you'll liive by whatever the court decides. To claim otherwise is very foolish. It's your opinion that ALPA violated it's own merger policy, but your opinion doesn't matter. The ALPA BOD decided that the Nic award complied with ALPA merger policy and the courts give wide latitude to a union's right to interpret it's own policies. Here's an idea - file a DFR suit against ALPA. Surely you can find another lawyer willing to fleece you again. Career expectations...prior to the merger being announced? You are funny in a sad, misguided sort of way... :lol:

Weak mind? What do you call someone that intentionally harms ones own body with a habit that is known and scientifically proven to decrease a male adults lifespan by over ten years? I dont smoke - so who has the weak mind?

If you change the word habit with career, I would call them an airline pilot......

The east pilots screwing themselves on LOA93 are like smokers who decide it best to only smoke in the garage with a car running. After all, what is a little more carbon monoxide going to hurt.

Make a binding agreement, live by your binding agreement. You can't get out of it by forming a sham union. Agreements mean something!

If the company signed an agreement with you and did the BS you are pulling, you'd be outraged (and rightly so).

The cognitive dissonance and selective ignorance of the east is appalling....you agreed to let your union speak for you (collectivism) and they made an agreement.

3 sides agreed, 2 sides lived up to their agreement.

And after all these years, what has the east gained? Jack Squat! LOA93 And, you will lose because the Nic list will be implemented. You screwed over your own union "brothers"

Calloway, I think you are by far the most intelligent west poster. Really, I do. Now a lot of other west posters are smart but they are not intelligent. With that being said you had a really good rebuttal to my post except:

One, I never said any east people or east pilots were in the line at the grocery store.

Two, where would you ever find both east and west pilots in a long line in any grocery store at the same time? Most east pilots live east and most west pilots live west. You couldnt get enough in a grocery store to even begin to form a line much less a long line as previously stated.

Your emotional response caused you to overlook the obvious and made you look, well emotional.

And by the way it was 517 not 515. They were put there because you didnt have 767s or A330s and rightfully so.

And while you are laughing think for a second about the words you ascribed to in your parting sentence. Rational, civil, and honorable. I see myself as standing up for our more junior guys that were wronged by the Nic award. These are guys that I have shared a cockpit with for over 25 years and I will continue to try and protect them. If you doubt my resolve simply look to the coming election results and then reflect back with me.

So let me get this straight. You say Nic was right in his awarding the top 517 because the West did not have 767s and A330s, yet Nic was wrong in his award because the West was not placed below soemthing else the West did not have,,,,,furloughees.


I really take exception to guys like you and NYCdriver et al, who use this arguement that you are doing it for the east junior guys, here is why. You act like you are doing some noble gesture, when in reality you are supporting nothing more less than a scab venture of stealing West pilots jobs for their benefit.
 
This is where your ideas get really dicey, R WILDER has taken the DJ to a different level, everthing GH and the CC Boys do to dismantle it will be met wth MAJORITY resistence, remember the CC boys moved their campaign forward on the CBL'S embraced by USAPA moves to the left or the right looking at your election data will be , well intervened! MM!
You are a smart and well informed guy. (anything is possible)

Why don't you tell us what R.Wilder said under oath during the TWA/ ALPA DFR case about arbitration. The guy you are now relying on, that "has taken the DJ to a different level" I will agree with you there. But not the level you guys were hoping for.
 
So, what facts do you have big guy?

I have read all of the transcripts regarding the Nicolau arbitration and all court cases up to and including the declaratory judgement. It appears Jim has as well. He provides you with facts yet you just call him names and claim he is deflecting when he consistantly answers your questions with facts.

Why would I even care to provide you with facts? In typical east fashion you don't really want to know the facts yet constantly ask for them. The facts don't apply to you (in your world) anyway.

You also know that you will have no control over USAPA and are distraught over the pending elections. Remember what dougie said in a crew news long ago.....just keep saying the word ACCEPTANCE over and over and it will relieve your tensions grasshopper.

Actually it could be considered landscaping in a way, part of what I do is build roads. Maybe about 35%, and it is profitable, so you were about half right. More profitable than flying no doubt, and there is still plenty of work out there even in this economy if you want it.

Were you making an attempt to discredit landscapers?

I don't think he was trying to discredit landscapers but, from the intelligence of your posts, it appears your abilities are limited to mowing lawns.

You will be retired tens of thousands poorer.

PS. If Silver rules it a DFR, the 9th won't even hear usapa's case.
 
Actually it is YOUR problem.

And you want the Nic so you can jump ahead of others that have paid their dues. You want the widebodies that you didnt bring to the merger. Overall the east is slightly expanding the west are shrinking- thats why you are flying 24% former east routes. The growth and attrition favor the east - you want that too.

You guys are like spoiled little children with entitlement issues.

There is a long line at the grocery store cashiers lane.......another lane and cashier open another up..........the entitled west brats bolt for the newly opened lane ahead of others in the original lane completely disregarding the positions of others ahead of them that have been standing there longer. Thats how I see you guys.

You make your accusations based on an assumption that we took some kind of action. We didn't create the list, an impartial arbitrator did.
