US Pilots Labor Discussion

How much did the MDA folks get overpaid?

It is really going to suck to be them if the number is very high.

The way I see it, either the company collects, or they are offering evidence of their collusion with usapa in disparite treatment of east vs. West pilots.
There ya go.

Bular backed himself into a corner when he collected our overpayment so the company has no choice.

Maybe they can use that sure-bet 9% raise to pay it off with. Breeze thinks its a winner!! LMAO.

"chatted" or threatened? Are you sure you weren't told that there were folks who would find the so-called weak sisters and such and could make their lives miserable? If reports of such behavior are merely isolated rumors and ramblings, they certainly are staying on topic. Your own little east version of the T-party (T standing for "Thug").

The only place I have ever heard of such a thing is on these boards as posted by west pilots. I never received an e-mail, text, letter or heard any mention of your supposed "thug" threats or behavior. The ONLY place I have ever seen it is from selected west pilots on this board.

I have yet to find a east pilot that has received such a mail, text, or letter either. If such behavior exixts on the east it is very very isolated.

However the fact that you seem to know all about such behavior could be very telling.

It saddens me greatly to see someone use the word of God Almighty to justify hate for USAPA. Love your enemies. Pray for your enemies. Being a pilot and worrying about your seniority is not what this life is about. I have no doubt that you love the Lord and more than likely agree.
It would be less hypocritical too if guys like you who love you lord loved by his word.

You can start by honoring your agreements. Or does your god not care about that?

Right?

Damn sinners.

What about that threatening email RR posted in this board? Pink panty award? Did you forget about that one? Or how about the letter Jordan wrote about how he was escorted to his gate by an eastie who wanted to make sure he knew to tow the USAPA line?

And what about Gunther's warning to a third lister here?

My you have a short memory.

Your position as "a captain at the time America West started" is irrelevant. Your position in 1983 has nothing to do with a seniority list integration in 2007.

BTW, 517 east pilots were put in front of West pilots who were also "captain at the time America West started", who were 747 captains in 1989, likely long before you saw the left seat of a widebody.

Also, we don't figure it "either nic or doh with c&r's". We figure it nic or usapa trying to scab West jobs. It is as simple as that, and you have admitted that you voted for usapa, enabling them to attempt to steal from the West.

I do want to make it clear that I understand voting against ALPA. Had there been any other reason to toss ALPA from the property, I would say close to half, if not more of the West pilots would have voted against ALPA. The problem here is that usapa was formed and compaigned on the platform of reneging on the Nic, stealing from the West, taking the West's representation out to further these goals, and you voted for and therefore approved of that platform.

So, you voted to strip me of union representation, harm me, steal from me, and advance east pilots at my expense.

I look forward to your coming retirement.

Let's be clear , I did not vote to screw anybody. I voted to get rid of alpa. As for the retirement.....I also look forward to retirement this time. If they would raise the age again I don't think I would stay even though I'm sure it would P### you off. You still like to use the scab word. Some would say that perhaps there are a few true scabs on the west side, but I wouldn't.

Which is why I graduated number one in my pilot training class, received the Commodore's List Award in pilot training, was ranked the number one officer in my year group in my squadron, why I was the only pilot who was the NATOPS Evaluator (Flight Examiner) at the Naval Air Test Center simultaneously in two separate aircraft, had my pick of assignments versus the needs of the military, was highly decorated, and why I am honorably retired from the Air Force Reserve as a senior officer. Oh yea...I was never in the Air National Guard.

I'm not one to boast, but your comments are off-base, wrong, and slander.

When would now be a good time for you to discuss the facts instead of trying to shoot the messenger with your incorrect information?

Very impressive. I wouldn't let it get to you, the jab that is. I don't know how many times I've been called a Mesa FO, by east pilots. Previously was a chief pilot at a commuter (not Mesa), check airman, , sim instructor, 2 advanced degrees (Magna Cum Laude).

So no big deal that I was a captain when AW started. Perhaps we could compare earnings from the day AW started to today and mention that since 1999 I've been #1 (for two years) on the 737 and #1 for 10 years on the 767. Just the facts. Just curious how many decades did AW have the 747's and did they have 30 or 40 or perhaps a bit less than that?

That is a statement about very impressive accomplishments and speaks volumes about your integrity and credibility concerning union matters.
I think he forgot to mention he is an airline ANALyst!

My you have a short memory.

Thank you for making my point. NO WHERE except on this board have I ever seen, or heard of that type of behavior. Yet according to you it is widespread and rampant in the east ranks. As an east pilot, I have never seen it nor received anything via Mail, email, or text, or even heard of it from another crewmember. The only thing I have ever received in the mail that was not an official USAPA mailing (ballots, dues money tax form etc) is from AOL.

Closest thing I have seen of it is stickers last summer on aircraft clipboards from an unknown urging pilots to not carry open writeups. However somebody on the east does seem to like to make stickers with an anti Doug theme. But those never appear in cockpits, normally only on ground equipment or employee parking lot shelters. So thinking thats probably from another work group.

I do however see stickers of all kinds on jetways, ground equipment etc from AOL.

It would be interesting to go back through the thousands of pages in this thread and count the number of times a west pilot has called an east pilot a derogatory name vs how many times an east pilot did the same. Judging from the last 20 pages or so on a quick scan I think it would be quite telling which side really falls into the "thug" catagory, as one of your west posters put it.

However I am not interested enough to do that. You however appear to have plenty of time for such an activity judging from your posts. Let us know what the results are.

To my knowledge I have never refered to a west pilot on this board with a derogatory term. But in the last few pages I believe I have been called monkey, scab, and a few other terms. I think it is quite easy to see which side has issues and likes to try and intimidate other. Not that they succeed, but its entertaining to watch them try.

And no I did not vote for your guy. I figured if I did I would probably receive my official USAPA mail addressed to "east monkey" or something to that effect! 🙂 If I were Eric I would be doing all I could to distance myself from the west crowd that posts on this board. They are not doing him any favors in the vote department.

Ya, I'm sure you were on the fence about voting for the west candidates.

Save it.

And you didn't read anything about the pink panty award? Threats to Jordan - the one he mentioned in his email he sent out to you guys?

Nope, only place i have ever seen the term "pink Panty awards" is on this board. Though as far as I know the only people that have my email address is USAPA and the company other than friends and family. I never gave my email to cactus pilot or AOL, you suppose thats why I never got the e-mails you speak of?

Figures. Far be it for me to expect an eastie to go out of his way to educate himself on something beyond what USAPA sends out.

I guess you missed all the company filings regarding your work slowdown last summer.

Company found it significant enough to include.
