Provided some other cosmic event doesn't happen, the sun will also swallow the earth one day when it becomes a Red Giant star as it runs out of Hydrogen to fuse into Helium. It's just a matter of time. Eventually that will happen. Will that matter to you and I? Perhaps one day Nic will be the list in a combined contract.....but by the time that happens.....will it matter anymore?

Actually, a main sequence star only burns through about 10% of its available hydrogen when it begins the Red Giant phase then it stops fusing hydrogen into helium and its core contracts and starts fusing helium into carbon and other heavier elements.

But hey, since you have no clue about simple things like seniority integrations, union DFR responsibilities, and arbitrations, I would have never expected you to have any idea of the workings of stellar physics.

Silver seems to be working it loose.

"Seems to be" would be the key words there. You might want to talk to your Leonidas leaders about when they expect a ruling. As one of your colleagues said on another board, "The election today will be a referendum of East pilots". Let me know how you like the results. I'm sure you will. 😀

Glad you have wikipedia! The short answer is .....By the time you get a shot at the NIC.....it won't matter anymore. Try to stay focused Sheldon. Maybe if you had stayed focused, you'd have been a stellar physicist instead of an airline pilot for an low rent airline. I'm here by circumstance. You actually chose to work here. Not too smart.

Referendum on what? LOA93? LMAO.

Her ruling will come out soon enough. Let me know how you like the results.

How'd that Cleary referendum go? LMAO.

Wikipedia is very useful.....for instance, simpletons such as yourself can use it to check to see if I got it right when correcting your gradeschool understanding of a star's life phases.

Now for correcting your assertions in yet another unthought out post.

1. as far as you know I have a degree in astrophysics from ASU, but but made a "choice" to work at AWA.

2. I did not "chose" to work "here", however, circumstances changed and for the time being I have "chosen" to stay. Unlike you, (a rumored 1999 furloughee trying to scab 500 numbers, who also has "chosen" to stay) I admit what "choices" I make, and retain resposibility for those "choices". So go sell you victim of circumstance crap to the rest of the usapa scabs and see who is willing to get shown the door when the West bumps you out of the seats you have stolen.

3. The Nic is already here. Was accepted by Parker and LCC years ago. It is going to blow up in usapa's face like a type Ia supernova.......er....um....see there are different kinds of supernova......er..um...see a type Ia is when a companion of a bi-stellar steals matter from its companion (kind of like usapa stealing from the West)......er..um....never mind sufice it to say it is smaller and the type II is bigger but the type Ia involves theft....get that??

I know it's important to you to make people think you're an important....smart person. (If you were smart, and money is all you care about, you'd have gotten hired at Southwest, Delta, Continental or Jet Blue while you had the chance) You and your ilk mistakenly think this is about money for an East pilot. There are a few that feel that a few dollars will make all the difference (USA320). However, the election will tell you exactly how the East pilots feel. The election results will be out very soon. Just realize that 3 years from now, you will still be sitting in the same position you are sitting in today. You might move up a couple of numbers, but nothing noticeable or appreciable. You'll have a lot of time to study up on your physics instead of preparing for a new aircraft or an upgrade.

P.S. It's obvious that your degree was not in English, if you in fact have a degree. But But Your statement above is priceless.

The Transition Agreement is binding on USAPA "both under ordinary principles of contract law and under the status quo provisions of the RLA" and the TA requires the Nicolau Award to be implemented.

I have no idea. A guess would be Hummel. I'm waiting to see if it was Bradford or Koontz. Nic or not, with all that has happened I can't believe the east would still support Bradford. Guess we'll have to wait and see how smart the east is or is not.

Salut! Attrition starts 12/12 and never ends. New hire classes in progress on the east. Only direction now is up the list as guys retire.
The pay will come when Doug needs a deal.
The only downside I see is having to swallow the Nic at some point...but not in the near future.
Attrition, attrition, attrition. Blah, blah, blah. You guys have convinced yourselves that your attrition is so valuable.

You guys are so blinded by hate and short sighted focused on attrition you are missing the big picture. There are multiple severe storms headed your way and you guys have your eyes closed rocking back and forth chanting "it's my attrition".

Watch the movie The perfect storm. Things did not turn our well for that crew.

You didn't leave when you had the chance, you're a real genius.

CM,
Your endless claims of unbiased facts is opinion untill settled by an authority ( ie judge ) much higher than you.

If it is not about the money why the fight to the death so the junior F/O's can upgrade? Why all the whining and screaming about those are my wide bodies? If it was not about the money why all the chatter about the LOA 93 grievance?

It it is not about the money it must be about lifestyle. Stay in the right seat and bid a better schedule. Fly domestic and get a better schedule.

I have found that if someone tells me it is not about the money. It is always about the money.

So if it is not about the money what is it about? Ignoring your agreements? Screwing other pilots? Making up for poor career choices?
