Provided some other cosmic event doesn't happen, the sun will also swallow the earth one day when it becomes a Red Giant star as it runs out of Hydrogen to fuse into Helium. It's just a matter of time. Eventually that will happen. Will that matter to you and I? Perhaps one day Nic will be the list in a combined contract.....but by the time that happens.....will it matter anymore?
Silver seems to be working it loose.
Actually, a main sequence star only burns through about 10% of its available hydrogen when it begins the Red Giant phase then it stops fusing hydrogen into helium and its core contracts and starts fusing helium into carbon and other heavier elements.
But hey, since you have no clue about simple things like seniority integrations, union DFR responsibilities, and arbitrations, I would have never expected you to have any idea of the workings of stellar physics.
Referendum on what? LOA93? LMAO."Seems to be" would be the key words there. You might want to talk to your Leonidas leaders about when they expect a ruling. As one of your colleagues said on another board, "The election today will be a referendum of East pilots". Let me know how you like the results. I'm sure you will. 😀
Ah yes. Once again, it's not an easties fault. In this case it was circumstance.I'm here by circumstance. You actually chose to work here. Not too smart.
Glad you have wikipedia! The short answer is .....By the time you get a shot at the NIC.....it won't matter anymore. Try to stay focused Sheldon. Maybe if you had stayed focused, you'd have been a stellar physicist instead of an airline pilot for an low rent airline. I'm here by circumstance. You actually chose to work here. Not too smart.
Wikipedia is very useful.....for instance, simpletons such as yourself can use it to check to see if I got it right when correcting your gradeschool understanding of a star's life phases.
Now for correcting your assertions in yet another unthought out post.
1. as far as you know I have a degree in astrophysics from ASU, but but made a "choice" to work at AWA.
Who won?
Attrition, attrition, attrition. Blah, blah, blah. You guys have convinced yourselves that your attrition is so valuable.Salut! Attrition starts 12/12 and never ends. New hire classes in progress on the east. Only direction now is up the list as guys retire.
The pay will come when Doug needs a deal.
The only downside I see is having to swallow the Nic at some point...but not in the near future.
You didn't leave when you had the chance, you're a real genius.I know it's important to you to make people think you're an important....smart person. (If you were smart, and money is all you care about, you'd have gotten hired at Southwest, Delta, Continental or Jet Blue while you had the chance)
The Transition Agreement is binding on USAPA "both under ordinary principles of contract law and under the status quo provisions of the RLA" and the TA requires the Nicolau Award to be implemented.
If it is not about the money why the fight to the death so the junior F/O's can upgrade? Why all the whining and screaming about those are my wide bodies? If it was not about the money why all the chatter about the LOA 93 grievance?I know it's important to you to make people think you're an important....smart person. (If you were smart, and money is all you care about, you'd have gotten hired at Southwest, Delta, Continental or Jet Blue while you had the chance) You and your ilk mistakenly think this is about money for an East pilot. There are a few that feel that a few dollars will make all the difference (USA320). However, the election will tell you exactly how the East pilots feel. The election results will be out very soon. Just realize that 3 years from now, you will still be sitting in the same position you are sitting in today. You might move up a couple of numbers, but nothing noticeable or appreciable. You'll have a lot of time to study up on your physics instead of preparing for a new aircraft or an upgrade.
P.S. It's obvious that your degree was not in English, if you in fact have a degree. But But Your statement above is priceless.
