Woulda, coulda, shoulda. Living in the past disregarding your future. Senior guys? Do you mean the senior guys or the old guys? 11 years ago used to be captain now are F/O's. Used to make $180 now make $125 or $85. Pathetic! You know Mesa guys are laughing at you.

Any rational person would consider that a career failure and try and recover from that. Either going to a different company or working very hard to get a new contract.

How is it you guys don't see the complete failure the east pilots have created?

You just don't seem to grasp the reality. $125/85?

My W2 for 2011 was $116,000+ as a 76 Intl FO....don't have my W2 or a scanner handy, but that's what I made.

We have had our setbacks, but the important thing is that we survived attacks from every angle and are still here, without selling out to some NIC BS or management. Regardless of what you think, we are not stupid, and are unified in the East.

One other point.....what is $85k plus $28.8k? That's worse case scenario.....

You do the math.

Would you go with that or hope and pray that if you accept the NIC, that you would ever do any better than that, knowing that the NIC is going to guarantee that you stay in the A320 right seat? Really....

So then you will be quitting soon, and leaving the Love Boat boards? Miss ya already sweetie.

Another last thought.....and I am not trying to be an ### here, guys, just facts.

If I don't do anything different and just stay as a 767 FO, making $116k/yr, then add just under $29k for the PBGC (effective Oct for me)......putting me at about $145k as an FO, why would I even consider anything with the NIC and move backwards instead of supporting my East brothers, moving them up the food chain, along with me gaining the A320 left seat? ( I can hold that now as a reserve)

Regardless, whatever plays out in the next year or two is going to take time to be effective, so it just doesn't matter.

It's a chess match, Res......nothing to do with a contract or pay rates. The East pilots have you in "check" and close to "check mate". Now, it's your move. If you want t new contract with improved pay, move in the right direction.....it's that simple.

breeze
Breeze, you're so full of sheet.

In check? LMAO. Just like that DOH cramdown, right.

Checkmate?!? LMAOROTFL

Now I understand. Here you have an FO on a WB making crap wages and supplementing said crap wages with retirement money and he's good with it.

Wow.

Survived attacks? Are you FKM?

All those "attacks" we're ricochets that came back at you from your own gun. You guys are the ones attacking, the only thing is that your attacks keep backfiring on you.

Just so you won't be disappointed in the future let me be clear. I have ZERO respect for you scab MF'ers. Understand? Never will. You're nothing but organized crime without the cache' and honor code. You absolutely ARE where you DESERVE to be...at the bottom of the barrel, a parasitic leach upon an otherwise thriving industry. This is where you'll remain until you either retire or expire. I don't care which.
So, its still unbearably hot in PHX? Unlike UHaul I think you might actually sincerely be wound up like a garage door spring.. If you were senior to me I wouldn't be concerned...

Wow.
Plus reducing his PBGC check by over 1/3 for the rest of his life, and not considering any benefit for a spouse/sig. other, just so he can puff his chest out about those "big bucks" he'll be making soon. Way too many on the east do love cutting off their nose to spite their face...

Then there's the really sad part - what breezy now claims the east only wanted all along, attrition and widebodies, could have been settled in SLI negotiations without ever going to arbitration. But those like breezy were screaming "DOH" back then and only now that they see the last few hopes disappearing are finally claiming that's all they wanted.

I'm thinking that RJ has some anger management issues. Perhaps human resources could get him some help. I have my own problem....they keep buying my DUB trips and my Smithwicks, Guiness, Galway hooker low light is on, maybe someone in human resources can help me with my problem?

Spot on. Bet it all on DOH and failed.

Tough sheet for breeze.

People operating on emotion rarely make good financial decisions. That's what people in marketing, or who operate casinos, or devise Ponzi schemes prey on. Never underestimate the power of emotions to override good common sense, especially when it comes to money.

All believers, east and west, remember to keep our pilot groups in each other's prayers. Let's throw in AA as well.
