All believers, east and west, remember to keep our pilot groups in each other's prayers. Let's throw in AA as well.

How about we just all (regardless of employee group) just keep each other in our prayers.

Absolutely not if you enjoy flying airplanes 20 days a month as a hobby. But had you stuck to your end of the bargain and the Nic had been implemented you would likely have already been upgraded Plus a raise on top of it.

C'mon show me that "smart" thingy you claimed the east demonstrated. Giving away money to Parker doesn't really qualify for that, does it?

Does Airways track a line item for Pilot Stupidity on the income statement? They make more than they did off bag fees on your east emotions!

Plus reducing his PBGC check by over 1/3 for the rest of his life, and not considering any benefit for a spouse/sig. other, just so he can puff his chest out about those "big bucks" he'll be making soon. Way too many on the east do love cutting off their nose to spite their face...

Then there's the really sad part - what breezy now claims the east only wanted all along, attrition and widebodies, could have been settled in SLI negotiations without ever going to arbitration. But those like breezy were screaming "DOH" back then and only now that they see the last few hopes disappearing are finally claiming that's all they wanted.

My W2 for 2011 was $116,000+ as a 76 Intl FO....don't have my W2 or a scanner handy, but that's what I made.

We have had our setbacks, but the important thing is that we survived attacks from every angle and are still here, without selling out to some NIC BS or management. Regardless of what you think, we are not stupid, and are unified in the East.

Yea and LAS would be an INT'l BASE, 30% EAST flying would be on the EAST and PHX would be the Capital of the US, and those bag fee's, look out the tax man he is a comin! Hobbies are great you should try one!

Well since we can imagine, let us imagine PHX is downsized by let us say 40%, take 800 pilots look where you sit on the list do the math and bingo, LOA93 and an upgrade look a whole lot better!, imagine tha!t, see LOS is just as good to EAST as NIC to WEST! REALITY BITES!

People operating on emotion rarely make good financial decisions. That's what people in marketing, or who operate casinos, or devise Ponzi schemes prey on. Never underestimate the power of emotions to override good common sense, especially when it comes to money.

Perhaps the fear of personal bankruptcy causes people to operate on emotions, in a vicious, accelerating cycle of poor decisions. By the level of emotionalism of Nic4Us and RJ it appears they should not have bought their Nic-boats and vacation houses.

You are correct. If all that was valuable and all the east pilots wanted was "their" attrition and protect the WB's. Why is it there is a petion out there that has 700 names on it demanding DOH? Why was Wye river all about DOH and not fences?
