US Pilots Labor Discussion

In response to your last 2 posts....it just doesn't freakin matter for us at this point now, does it? What else would you expect.

Now that most of the senior East guys....not all.....will get what they need before retirement, maybe you can get beyond your anger and find a little respect for your elders.....you know, bring a little basic decent human dignity into your pathic life, instead of just crying for your winning lottery ticket and trying to screw you fellow human being.

But, I have no hope for you, sorry. Greed is a powerful drug.

breeze
It sure is. Says the guy that wants his before he leaves. Screw the rest of us.

I respect those that respect me. So far I not seen much respect or integrity from the east.

The senior East guys have always only wanted to finish out our careers with a decent seat and wage, but you guys would not listen

breeze

Just what were we supposed to listen to? Something along the lines of the following?: "Hey, Rookie, I'm a senior east pilot. Years ago I made lots of money while you were making squat. You AWA guys are such losers for working for such low wages and we legacy pilots are utterly disgusted with you.

Although my company wrote the book on bankruptcy and were very successful at chipping away at my pay and benefits I do feel entitled to regain what I have lost. Being a Rookie you are much younger than me and I feel that you should not get in the way of my need to be made whole. You have more time to recover.

Perhaps we can overlook the fact that you AWA guys played by the rules in integrating our seniority lists because I just don't like the arbitrator's decision. It does not allow me to be made whole in the limited time I have left. Besides, you are used to making less than other pilots so accepting DoH and the bottom of my seniority list shouldn't be too hard on you.

I have vaseline in my bag but believe you should be willing to take my fisting without me having to open a new jar."

Have I summed it up correctly?

Left seat A320 with PBGC money.....minimum. Not to mention 75/76....and A330 Cpt raises.

breeze
If I were you I would not mention your pay rate either. Have you guys taken a look at your career compared to the rest of the industry? Sad boys and you want 3 more years.

Airline LOS junior capt. Pay rate
AA 19 years $161
ALK 12 years $180
DAL 12.5 years $168
UAL 16 years $137
Airtran 7 years $139
Jet B. 5 years $145
Spirit 4 years $108 in 8 years $139
West 13.5 years $140
East 26.3 years $125

Which one of these is not like the others? Which one of these just does not belong?

If you want to talk about respect, unity, and brotherhood......you know, taking care of your own, that you have worked with for 25+ years, go talk to the senior East Captains who really have no dog in this fight, so to speak. Those guys have stood by their brothers and sisters from day 1 instead of selling us out. Why? Because it was the right thing to do.

THAT IS WHAT BROTHERHOOD IS ALL ABOUT!!!

You Mesa boys could learn alot from them.

I will never forget their support and will always appreciate that their hearts were in the right place.

You have summed up your dull, paraniod view of things....not mine.

Think what you want....I can't remember anytime you have made anykind of repsectful statement, so why would I expect that now.

Bottom line, we are getting where we need to be....regardless of what your wildest dreams are.

breeze
Just so you won't be disappointed in the future let me be clear. I have ZERO respect for you scab MF'ers. Understand? Never will. You're nothing but organized crime without the cache' and honor code. You absolutely ARE where you DESERVE to be...at the bottom of the barrel, a parasitic leach upon an otherwise thriving industry. This is where you'll remain until you either retire or expire. I don't care which.

You may think their hearts are in the right place but their heads are stuck up their back side.

Bad thing making business decisions with emotion instead of logic. But hey 3 more years, 3 more years. As long as you are happy because that is all that matters to you.

More BS that just doesn't matter....

Even at $125+ PBGC of $28.8, we are looking at a minimum of $153.8, and that is on the A320......where does that number go for the guys that are moving to 76/A330 Cpt?

Think about it Ames, regardless of what happens in 2012, it will take years to implement whatever comes down the pike. Even is Judge Silver tells Parker to use the NIC, how long do you think it will take to get cross bidding set up and running? How long do you think it will take for an AA SLI? How long do you think an appeal will take?

Honestly, you guys need to regroup on your strategy.

Well Res,

Just speaking for myself, the feeling is mutual.

More BS? So in your world facts are BS. You being the lowest paid, longest to upgrade group in the industry is BS. Did you ever think that if you guys had a decent contract that $153.8- would actually be almost $200.00? But hey enjoy your retirement.

3 more years, 3 more years.

At what point in your career will you stop saying you had a decent contract? If you have been there 25 years and 10 years of that is LOA 93. You are approaching the half way mark of being the worst in the industry. If anyone should be called Mesa boys it is the east.

No way. Listen to Mad Mut. He has been saying to a year now the west will be fragged off. We can go make our own deal. You guys know we are better negotiators than the east.

Or we sue usapa for DFR if you don't represent us fairly. You have heard of the Naugler suit right? Suing ALPA for DFR because they did not argue the MDA were not furloughed. If usapa argues to place the west at less than what Nicolau afforded us. DFR!!!

Beginning to see the sides of the very small box usapa put you in?

You're right clear. You have had it figured out all along, that is why your career is singing along. Continue on....
