The FAs are making fun of you on another thread. Dilgas, or something like that, doesn't seem to think much of you either.

He's an F/A like you're ramper. He's a putz and he has been since 2002 when I joined. At least you have some level of intelligence.

Once again, the first amendment only applies to the government restricting speech, a company and a message board can restrict your speech.

And I thought you new the Constitution there SH.

Can you yell fire in a dark and crowded movie theater?

Nope....you also can't make false and defamatory claims about a VP at US, can you Sparrow?

Still have a right to speak freely within the confines of the TOS. Would you have felt more comfortable if I'd said "just offering my opinion"

I think most are aware of Schenck v. United States in 1919, where justice Holmes and a unanimous court ruled that it was a violation of the Espionage Act of 1917, to distribute flyers opposing the draft during World War I. Holmes argued this abridgment of free speech was permissible because it presented a "clear and present danger" to the government's recruitment efforts for the war. Holmes wrote:

The most stringent protection of free speech would not protect a man falsely shouting fire in a theater and causing a panic. The question in every case is whether the words used are used in such circumstances and are of such a nature as to create a clear and present danger that they will bring about the substantive evils that Congress has a right to prevent.

It is imploding for the reasons you mentioned and NO I'm not OK with it. I, do however live in the real world and like it or don't the above and the USAPA situation are fast becoming the order of the day.

Companies like CO/EA under Lorenzo and now US under Parker changed the rules to the game as did USAPA. Good old fashioned hardball is alive and well. I don't make the rules I just play the game to win. No sportsmanship awards required thank you.

Do I like it? Agree with it? NO!!! Do I accept it for what it is? YES. Welcome to the new millennium. Truth is Treason in the Empire of lies.

I don't like it, nor do I accept it. The west pilots as a whole don't either so that explains the current situation, not greed, selfishness or anythig else the east pilot group can conjure up.

Wow, this guy sounds like a real winner. Anyone want to tell him what's been going on lately? Catch him up a little?

Philadelphia Pilots -

As a candidate for PHL Vice Chairman, please allow me to take a moment to introduce myself and my motivations for running for this important position.

My name is Paul Music. I am currently a PHL based A330 F/O with 26 years seniority and reside north of PBI. Like the majority of you, I too have flown as both block holder and reserve in both seats in most every narrow body aircraft as well as the right seat of both widebody aircraft. Prior to USAir, I served over 10 years in the United States Air Force, and it brings me great pride to say that I now have three children who are currently flying as Combat Veterans in the Air Force as well.

My primary purpose for stepping up to run for office is to do all I can to prevent any further erosion of our careers. Right now, the BPR is in disarray with pilots pulling in all directions. I am committed to working with my fellow BPR members to build consensus and do what's right for this pilot group.

My priorities include:

Elimination of the Nicolau list which I consider a fight ‘to the death’
No less than an ‘Industry Standard’ contract to recognize ‘all’ seniority groups
Continued support for the prior MDA and J4J pilots and to recognize their sacrifice

I consider our pilot group to be ‘under siege’ and I consider the elimination of the Nicolau list the MOST important issue on the agenda. I have pledged to fight ‘to the death’ to insure it never sees light of day. I can no longer ‘hope’ that my reps represent me and will remain firm on my strict Date Of Hire Stance as well as insure we do not lose any other valuable items such as Scope or the Change of Control provisions in our contract.

I will be writing to you again soon with a more detailed account of my plan for serving our pilots, In the meantime, if you value these issues and recognize their significance as I do, then I ask for your support in this election by casting your vote for me TODAY: Paul D. Music for PHL Vice Chairman

Respectfully,

Paul D. Music

Note to self.....add Paul Music to scab list.

Oh, wait....lookie here....Music is already on the list because of comments he made on the ALPA national web board.

Nor do the East pilots like where we are.

If you are sincere about the greed/selfishness, etc......you and the West pilots need to have AOL send a letter to Parker and Judge Silver stating that you will come off the NIC and seek fairness instead of threatening lawsuits.

The East pilots have advantage in this chess game and time is on our side......not out of greed, but out of fairness as to what we brought to the table. You are looking at maybe 5 yrs until the seniority issue stabilizes in your favor. We can wait that long. I believe that with Hummel running USAPA, the union is not the big bad boogie man that you fear (which is what is should have been in the first place), and you will get a fair deal. The East pilots just want to finish out their careers on a decent note, which we feel that we have paid for with LOA93.

K.M.A. See you in court. If suicidal tendencies is an "advantage" , knock yourselves out.

Oh PLEAEESE, What's this fairness bullstuff? Life, The world, The Company, The Union are all UNFAIR. Grown up and get over yourself.

You have 747 Ego's and B1900 brains on this one. Sit down swallow your chewing gum along with your pride and ego and get unified and take that prick Parker to the financial woodshed and teach him a lesson. In aviation, Pilots are suppose to be the Union that has the power and calls the shots. Start acting like Pilots, all of you.

Try to stay on the subject, SH. You have been thumping your chest for a couple of days now (and have made some good points)....this is a different post. Every pilot involved understand how Parker is screwing us and laughing......it goes deeper than that.

Note to self, vote for Paul. Nice job flight attendants. Parker wants a deal, he has yet to pay anyone but himself.
