You see, Res,

That greed in your attitude is just screwing yourself. Soon I will upgrade to A320 Cpt and I start drawing PBGC money this fall, so that puts me at about $154k/yr. I can live with that until I retire in 5 yrs. There are about 1000 pilots in the East that are in the same boat. So, we can ride that out and never vote for a new contract, or we can seek an end to this SLI and help each other.

Chess....your move, son.

breeze
Great! Problem solved! You can stop crying for a compromise like a little whiny #### every 12 seconds now. You ain't gettin' one. Ever. Our moves are made in Court....where we kick the living @&$) out of you every time. Peace out Gramps!

Relax and go trim your killer 1986 Moustache Mr. Sellack. Gotta look cool for the CLT crew room.

Not hurting us much breeze. Look at you, for instance. You'll retire a commuting FO using retirement to supplement a meager hourly rate.

If anyone really needs the help, its you guys.

DEN-PHL-DEN - only 5 more years to go.

maybe that's where you need to be corrected.....will retire in the left seat, since I can hold that now as a reserve. The PBGC money will cause me to take another look at it, along with holding a Cpt block within a year to 18 months.

I, along with my west brothers, have made a suggestion many times for a long time:

accept the Nic and move on. Its the only way.

We'd be on our second contract right now and you'd be commuting to PHX.

That has nothing to do with a suggestion to end the stalemate.

C'mon, your smarter than that. WHAT CAN YOU SUGGEST TO HELP THE WHOLE PILOT GROUP?

Really,
breeze

What's your hangup with this commuting thing? I have never complained about commuting to work. I moved here to live close to my kids after divorce and would consider living close to them a non event even if I had to commute to China. I can see why you want to move to CLT....you're a wimp when a commute is involved.

breeze
No breeze, not a wimp. I just choose to be more productive with my time.

And you're the first pilot I know who loves commuting.

I can repeat over and over that there's no wau around the Nic and that a new contract awaits once you figure it out.

That is help the WHOLE pilot group.

If you can ride it out breeze, why do you want to seek an end?

You seem very generous today - commuting getting to you?

Your move old dude.

I seek an end solely due to the fact that Parker is screwing us all.....we all deserve better than that.

Also, why would I want to commute to PHX when better choices await me in DFW? 🙂

LOL!!!

You do have a way with words.

Again...that tunnel vision....

Love my kids, not commuting. Do you have kids yet? Being 23, I doubt that you would understand.

I don't know what wau means, but do understand that you are not offering anything new. Ok, we just ride it out....I'm ok with that.

You are a smart man, I can tell. Now, offer something new, or we just sit here for the next 5 years.....seriously, that's where we are, regardless of the court system.

Wow breeze, you're so good with those jabs. My hands shake becaus they rattle me so much.

I have two kids breeze. And if I could cut my commute down to an hour by accepting the Nic so that I could be home more, I would.

Funny how you guys say that you can go on with a new contract yet in the very same post you want a solution.

The solution is there, you just have to live up to your word and take it. There can never be compromise on the Nic. It's impossible and legally unobtainable. Youre stuck with your final and binding agreement.

I feel a bit sorry for you. FO at 60 and using retirement to supplement pay.

So sad.

So now I'm a 23 year old SMART man? You need to keep your pejoratives straight.

Then, by your choice of not accepting a final and binding award, it looks like we're going to ride it out until you retire.

No need to feel sorry......I have been commuting for 12 yrs now....what's another 5?

Congrats on the kids....probably under 10 yrs old...very important years to be home. When my kids were that young, I lived 20 mins from the CLT airport....good for you. I only have 1 daughter left at home, 16 yrs old, so I have done that duty.....4 kids total. A crash pad in Philly is looking better with the PBGC money, to fly A320 reserve Cpt, now that the kids are getting older. BTW, the PBGC money is furnished by you taxpayers, thanks!

Honestly, the only reason I would like to see a resolution to our SLI problem is so that Parker will have to pay us something around industry standard. But.....if you guys have nothing to offer, I am better off with where we are today.

Again, WHAT NEW SOLUTION DO YOU OFFER?

Check

Didn't our offers come during negotiations and mediation breeze?

And how do you expect to make Parker pay with no leverage?

One more note.....

Surely you guys realize that if Silver.....rephrase that....."when" Silver comes down in favor of the NIC, as the East voting reflects, you will absolutely never get a vote on any contract, so the TA is still delayed(5 yrs?)

You guys would be better off by getting AOL to withdraw by writing a letter to Parker and Judge Silver agreeing to withdraw all threats of lawsuits. That is all you have is that threat.....you can make a change.

And how do you expect to make Parker pay with no leverage?

1- NIC is so contraversial that it caused this quagmire......we need a need avenue. Please, we don't need to go back into all the arguments......we are chasing our tails.

2- Parker will be facing a united pilot group instead of him having control.
