You are running out of time by the minute, and will be swept along by the tide of managements doing their merger dances, to enrich themselves. You underestimated on all fronts, and now have no scope going forward. You, are in a precarious position to say the least. Your inept lawyer pilots do not understand anything about labor law, only greed. They, and the lawyers you paid to waste your time and money, have cost you dearly. You are in exactly the same spot you were years ago, only now it is precarious with consolidation coming. It will never come to pass the Nic. Never.
Cleary has done a marvelous job holding the Nic off. Doing exactly what everyone who voted asked him to do. That is why you hate him so, he trumped Leonidas over and over. It was amazing to see. Michael Cleary is a true American Labor Legend. Remember this one word- SCOPE. You will wish you had it.

How has Cleary done getting you a contract? DOH? Snapbacks? Killing of LOA93? RICO? Suing Seham?

Don't know how luv feels about it but it seems like deja vu to me. When alpa was here the same thing happened. He can't give anything away without all of us voting so I'm not terribly worried. I am distressed that it is pretty hard nowadays to tell usapa from alpa. Round and round she goes.

Have to actually agree with you there. ALPA was never very good at communicating what was actually going on to the pilot group as a whole.

If I had to guess, Parker probably told him, "Hey, I'd like you on board, but if not, oh well, don't stand on the train tracks." We'll never know, because USAPA has a terrible track record of transparency and telling this pilot group the truth.

Why are you surprised?

The guys you keep electing are former ALPA guys. The guys running everything behind the scenes are ALPA guys.

The only thing different is they no longer had a national union to supervise them.

Allow me to rephrase,

"Michael Cleary is a true American Labor Legend in his own mind". If you define victory as:

Using every legal maneuver known to civilized man to delay the inevitable.

Ensuring that NO ONE gets a raise! (you can argue that the turd bowl deal the F/A's rejected was as poor as it was because US had no idea what would happen with the pilots.)

Putting the entire group east and west in a position that should a merger take place they will be in a position of weakness.

Exposed the East pilot group to some pretty significant financial risk should a DFR suit ever be filed.


Now I only know what I read here as I am not a pilot, however if this debacle is the work of a true American Labor Legend and I were a pilot I'd retire or go fly cargo until retirement age. Gang of idiots sailing a ship of fools.

If we're discussing logic here let's take a look at the definition of the word and its history. From Wikipedia

Based on the definition above one can not have "Deranged Logic". A better description might be his "flawed", "invalid" or "failed" logic. Certainly most of his opinions and protestations seem to defy logic and reason.

Maybe you are correct, and one cannot have "deranged logic".....However, one most certainly can be deranged, and that is what we are dealing with here.

So, if a deranged individual tries to make a logical arguement...well,,, I think you get the point.
