US Pilots Labor Discussion

Yes, this company will down size by 10 to 15 percent when Hummel gives up the scope, they will be a lot jobs lost.

This comment is one of fear and has no merit. Why?

1. USAPA's president has no authority to give up Scope.

2. The JNC would have to agree to give up Scope.

3. The BPR would have to agree to give up Scope.

4. The pilot's would have to vote to give up Scope.

5. In the recent F/A TA they obtained industry leading Scope better than the pilot's current protections.

Why would the Company agree to give the F/As industry leading Scope, with the pilot's current minimum hulls, minimum block hours, current RJ protections, and current code share protections if the "company will down size by 10 to 15 percent?"

They need to keep a fully stocked stable of boogey men, scapegoats, and patsies. You don't know that by now? It's the only option for an entirely worthless, irrelevant pilot "union"

Why would Wolf (please take note, Wolf has no "e" in his name).. Why would Wolf order over 400 Arbii if there was no intention to outsource mainline? Why would AA place the biggest aircraft order in history if they had no intention of declaring bankruptcy to fleece labor and outsource?

News flash... Management is always trying to eat away at scope.. Otherwise by definition, they are not management.

You should know by now, 320 is always singing the praises of management, otherwise by definition he is not 320.

Hummel will re-staff the the JNC with his boys, as we have seen in the past and the yes we do get the final vote.

Get a clue already.

Nobody cares what you vote, how you vote, who you voted for. It is nothing more than background noise.

PS. the Nic is the only accepted system seniority list at LCC. No vote necessary.

The Nic is unachievable for the western side. You just will NEVER get the votes, and it takes VOTES for it to be accepted. You are running out of time by the minute, and will be swept along by the tide of managements doing their merger dances, to enrich themselves. You underestimated on all fronts, and now have no scope going forward. You, are in a precarious position to say the least. Your inept lawyer pilots do not understand anything about labor law, only greed. They, and the lawyers you paid to waste your time and money, have cost you dearly. You are in exactly the same spot you were years ago, only now it is precarious with consolidation coming. It will never come to pass the Nic. Never.
Cleary has done a marvelous job holding the Nic off. Doing exactly what everyone who voted asked him to do. That is why you hate him so, he trumped Leonidas over and over. It was amazing to see. Michael Cleary is a true American Labor Legend. Remember this one word- SCOPE. You will wish you had it.

Major expansion planned for CLT http://www.charlotteobserver.com/2012/04/09/3158982/airport-bets-a-billion-on-future.html Time to close up shop in PHX. http://www.twgarchitects.com/portfolio_detail.asp?portfolio_aviation=13
But they can only close shop (PHX) with a joint contract. Is usapa anywhere near a contract? Not being parked. So keep saying that, the cost for PHX pilots to agree to a contract keeps going up.

What usapa is asking for is not worth it to PHX. We will stay right where we are.

So with Cleary staffing the NAC and other committees with his boys you thought that was ok. But the new president doing the same thing you have a problem with that?

What happened to the majority rules mantra?

Unbiased Facts Update: (What is the next step for the PIC when the assessment runs out?): April 9, 2012

Dear Subscriber,

Update for April 9, 2012

Quick Fact #232: What is the next step for the PIC when the assessment runs out? Is the PIC’s April 4, 2012 Update a continuing effort by USAPA to manipulate the pilot’s thoughts by providing false hope and expectations with “another compelling and dramatic direction”? Is the PIC setting the stage for USAPA to seek more of the East pilot’s hard earned dollars?

From the article about Charlotte:
USAirways is studying a merger with American, while Delta Airlines has also been reportedly studying a merger with US Airways.

Wouldn't it be funny if Delta pulls a Parker and succeeds at a hostile takeover?

Nah, never happen 🙄
