Looks like the PHX legions are denied their Nic. dream. There was no joint contract to cement any seniority list. The train has left the station. Looks like the eastern division successfully destroyed the western plans. As much as they claim the Nic is the list, everyone else knows it is fading far into the rear view mirror. Greed cost them their chances. That lottery that Kirby warned them about came true. They are just like the woman in Baltimore. There is no winning ticket. The flight attendant group and the rest of all the employees did their merger in an upstanding manner. The greedy western division pilots screwed themselves royally.
The AA pilots already know the junior western pilots have already set their greedy eyes on the AA triple sevens. How long till we hear how the PHX pilots SAVED another airline? It won't be long. They love to re write history and forget their sordid past that caused a lot of the present day damage. Franke would be proud of his boys. They have finally brought the rest of the industry down to the America West standard.

Is there any hope that this nutjob will make it back to reality?
 
You appear to desperately wish yourself capable of some/any significance it seems....even if only on some chat board. For what little it's worth; I honestly feel sorry for you. I've noted that I haven't any definite ideas as to how the possibly imminent merger will shake out. If you have some; "share with the class" at your pleasure. Regressing yourself into a petulant child hardly enhances discussion.

Its just a phase, and it will pass if you ignore it and don't encourage it. Its like picking at a scab. If you leave it alone it will fade away sooner.

My point was if doug wants (now follow here) a jcba to merge with AA it will have to pass an EASTWEST vote, if he modifies the T/A which he can goes to 3 lists, which could easily be decided by USAPA and APA, my guess dead by years end! Besides if you read BATES letter to the APA(the long one in the AA thread) he tells the pilots US(DUI DOUG) mngmnt triggering no COC for AA's officers but in effect if that is true it would trigger an EAST CBA COC for the EAST pilots bringing us full circle to why vote for a "NIC" EAST WEST CONTRACT before any merger! My guess the "SECURED CREDITORS" will rule the day!
There isn't going to be any "EastWest" vote. APA just signed you a new contract. Silver will inform all parties that if they ignore the Nic they'll be SUCCESSFULLY sued, unlike the weak dk USAPA threat to sue which will be....as per normal....UNSUCCESSFUL.

Your new majority just blew your doors off. USAPA better reign in the FPL crowd. I'm hearing there might be some budgetary shortfalls coming soon.

NO JCBA NO NIC, the 9th circuit when asked will inform all parties they are cleared to bargain, they involve the NIC without a JCBA the company will be sued by a large group of EAST pilots!

He got his britches take down by REAL judges. 😱 Face it kids, your seniority theft was overtaken by events after you took too long to figure out you need a CBA to implement seniority. Now you will never have a deal without a three way with APA. The Nic is absolutely done, done!

IMO if the merger happens a whole lot of you are going to be sitting reserve and working holidays for the 1st time in years......

Are you serious? It has been years since Parker tried the first merge with East pilots. How is that one going? Wait till the congressmen start asking about that one when he wants another. I am sure the Delta folks are getting that one ready when they oppose this.

I suggest you go read APA President Captain Bates' letter to his membership regarding the potential merger.

It is full of praise for the AWA management team. Seems the APA has managed to get a tentative agreement out of Tempe that will be finalized in the next 60 days. So, the APA will have accomplished in 4 months what a union is supposed to do, bargain for their membership, while the scabs at usapa are still in CBA limbo trying to steal West pilot's jobs.

In regards to the Nic going forward. There is no need to "cement" it in a contract. There is already a contract, it is called the TA. Nowhere in the TA does it call for membership approval of a final and binding arbitration. In other words[ you stupid scab, you do not get to vote on whether the Nic is the system seniority list at LCC.

Regarding the rewriting of history. Feel free to post any example of this false claim, and I will tear your scab vision to shreds with factual info for the thread.

Sorry you are taking it so seriously Nic4, every post gets more disturbing by the line. Take some time off with the wife and kids. We are starting to worry .

NO JCBA NO list, read the T/A room to modify, BTW DUI is going to need something like SCOPE REDUCTION LANGUAGE , and relaxation of the COC provision, my guess the WEST class will get the ejector seat, BTW Fun to talk about but my advice make sure your trailing stop loss is in place on your LCC stock!

The APA wipes all of that away with your new contract...your JOINT contract. You're now in the extreme minority. I'm sure you can appreciate democracy in action. Do you think the APA is going to risk losing their pensions for you? Nope. Nothing is going to stop this deal and DUI got a hell of a lot smarter in dealing with you idiots.

You don't have a JCBA now so if their is "NO LIST" what's been the delay for over 4 years? The Delay is the fact that there IS a list. Silver will explain it to you. I'd ignore the USCABA spin, it's always full of lies and misdirection. Oh, and your "room to modify" takes agreement of the company. They'll never touch anything that smells like a DFR against the West. Should be obvious by now. How stupid are you?

USAPA is about to lose 40% of their income going into the merger of a lifetime. This is going to be fun.

I know it has only been a day but try and merge all of the facts in your little brain. If we merge with AA they are going to have a new contract and be the larger group. The APA will then ask the NMB for single carrier status. Remember how it worked when usapa did it? There will be a vote and APA will be our bargaining agent. We will then go to the new AA contract. We don't get a vote on a new joint contract. The AA pilots will have done that for us.

Federal arbitration will happen. Federally enforceable arbitration. That arbitrator will take the Nicolau and the AA list and merge them in some slotted manner with AA wide body fences. It will not be DOH. You can scream and cry about how unfair it is but the rest of us are not going to care. That arbitrated list will be inserted into our new contract and we are done. The ninth will not be involved because the contract will be completed.

But fell free for your large group of east pilots to sue. You can form your group collect the money and fight the APA war chest and the other 12000 AA pilots. You can learn what it is like to fund both sides of the fight. Remember section 29 your must pay dues or fees to the APA.

Events are over running you east guys.

If we merger the number I have seen is $119 per hour for a NB f/o, 180 for a captain. It will be really hard for anyone to feel sorry for the AFO club if they are making almost what they would as a captain at a stand along east contract. the captains will drop the AFO club this time. The very small minority demanding DOH will be a fart in the wind compared to the majority in a merger.

There will be a joint contract and we are not going to get a vote on it.
