US Pilots Labor Discussion

In 92 most of the utility had three years on the property making like $13 an hour, please tell me how that is more than a B scale pilot. Top out pay was $16 an hour.

So your numbers are way off. So on based on a 40 hour week, top out pay was $33k a year, before taxes and benefits.
Look at what the 190 f/o on reserve makes now.

Show me ONE instance in my posts that I am wrong. YOU CAN'T.

YOU'RE THE CHILDISH ONE ATTACKING because you can't make your point.

I'm not the one having a temper tantrum, YOU ARE. If you don't want the pilot's perspective, then GO BACK TO THE IAM BOARD.

I hear that Ringling Brothers has some openings you might qualify for in Clown College.
Oldie

THINK who this is.....he might a litttle more stupid but it's the same moron's from the west

I think the folks in the sandcastle saw this thing rapidly coming to a conclusion when the ninth ruled, and had to do something to keep the profits rolling in or they might lose their huge bonusses. Filing a frivolous lawsuit probably seemed like the quickest, surest way to drag it out for at least a few more years.

I'm expecting that if the East Pilots win the LOA 93 thing (still a big "IF"), that management will immediately plead poverty, threaten to park airplanes, cut back on international flying (since that would affect the East Pilots more than the West), and threaten more furloughs reaching deep into the list.

Brace for impact. I just hope USAPA has bigger balls than ALPA did. ALPA would have just "rolled over" and given them everything and more. Then the company would have done it all anyway.
This is exactly what is down the road.

First of all we didnt go on strike for an increase, we went on strike for scope language. You cant be fired for honoring a picketline. The AFA honored it and they had to be ordered back to work by the courts. And later on the AFA won the case when it went to arbitration.

And there were not 2 to 3 mechanics at each station, there was only mtc in 35 mainline stations, 10 of them were third shift only. US flew into almost 100 mainline stations at the time.

I think you need to stick to ALPA issues and not the IAM.

We took concessions, the mechanics were reduced from the line to go work in the hangar and there was a 50/50 ratio or mechanics and utility doing pushbacks.

Some pilots performed struck work, you made a sweetheart deal with the company to cross the picket line and every pilot would get paid for their trips if flown or not. US grounded all the DC9, MD80, F100,and F28 fleet.

So dont let the real truth get in the way.

Yeah Scooter, don't let the truth get in your way.

To my knowledge, IAM was not flying any airplanes for USAIR. And since that is what the pilots did, you and I BOTH know that is NOT doing struck work.

How many pilots performed maintenance on USAir aircraft? 0

How many pilots performed inspections on USAir aircraft? 0

How many pilots handed out parts for USAir aircraft? 0

How many pilots drove the tugs to pushback USAir aircraft? 0

Flying airplanes is NOT IAM struck work.

Driver <_<

Parker's wishes are somewhat irrelevant.
So are the wishes of most of you on this forum. Seniority has already been determined. Whether or not it stands will be decided by the courts. When they do, judging by all the chest pounding around here, there will likely be some crow to eat.

What perplexes me is all the "rah! rah!" and back slapping going on when nothing has ACTUALLY happened. Still no contract. Still no unity. Still no integrated seniority list. Nothing but LOA 93 pay rates. This is nothing to be happy or proud of. It's embarrassing.

And your behavior on this forum is like children (bullies really) on a playground. Not adults. Adults communicate and exchange opinions. They agree to disagree. They allow others to speak. They let things run their course. They are accountable for their actions. Children form clicks, use peer pressure to manipulate others, taunt anyone they can, and have no respect for those who don't let them have their way. It's like anarchy around here. It's no wonder many have taken pause and let you all pound your heads against the wall.

What's to talk about anyway? The next step will be the ruling on the declaratory judgment. Between now and then hopefully some of you will grow up so we might actually discuss the outcome.

Things are not going to well at UAL/CAL, what do you think Jetzzzzz. http://articles.chicagotribune.com/2010-11-08/business/ct-biz-1109-united-20101108_1_pilots-bill-swelbar-wendy-morse
I think this has already been addressed 25 pages ago:

I guess I read more than you do. I also talk to my reps personally. By phone I was told that Morse and Pierce talked, and relations are once again warming. Then The following message was issued, AFTER the ones you selectively posted:

"I spent the latter part of the week in New York attending an Association of Star Alliance Pilots (ASAP) meeting which was hosted by the CAL-MEC. During this meeting, Continental MEC Chairman Captain Jay Pierce and I continued to exchange ideas on the resolution of the compensation issue. While no solution was reached this week, the dialogue continues in a search of a mutually agreeable solution.

This is simply among the challenges that we have the skill set and leadership ability to solve. We will get there. As you will see below, this issue did not deter the JNC from continuing its work this week on the various other issues that are before us in attaining a JCBA."

Nah I don't think we will, but thanks for you opinion.

How would you know if it was 25 pages ago if you just joined yesterday. I think you are a cleaner from PHL posing as a pilot from PHX

trying to steel a job from a East f/o . Or a pilot from PHX posing as a cleaner from PHL who ought to be cleaning planes in PHL.

I was mistaken. It was more like 58 pages ago.

And did you ever think that someone could read this forum and not be a member?

My 8 year old daughter behaves better than most of you, and is more mature too. You guys have fun doing whatever it is you like to do to each other around here. I'll check back when something news worthy actually happens.

Was in ORD and the westies say they are going to start a recall of Ferguson. Any news on that?

I have not heard of that. If it's true, perhaps it's just an isolated few alpo lovers and/or cheapskates. We've got a a handful floating around.

Yep. It was determined the day you were hired. Enjoy your crow.

Since AWA had the WORST payscales for over 20 years, you do know embarassment.

Better a bully than a thief.

Poor technique, name calling just demonstrates a lack of communications skills, just as I tell my children.
