Remember even if half go out the other half won't have anything to do also. Teamster support will stop all fueling of aircraft and Patco won't be given any help with a clearance, trash won't be taken away. going to be ugly.
All fueling? I think you need to realize the majority of the fuelers are non-union, keep trying.

And sympathy strikes are against the rla and nlra, keep trying!

Classy 700UW... classy... NOT

If the EAST goes out this place implodes.
The west can't fly EAST routes, and I doubt they will be able to get an injuction that says they can.

We only need ourselves to stop this operation...

Good point Avg Joe but here is what you are missing in a big way. First, the company is just fine with status quo on your pay scale. Hey if the east want to work for republic money then who am I to stand in their way? I say give'em all food stamps!!
Second for dragging out the process usapa will be sued again for not represnting the west by negotiating in good faith. I plan to bring the suit myself. Third just how long to you think the mid level capts will continue to allow the crazy 8's (angry f/o's club) to continue to hold them down?? There is zero in this for them so why should they give whats left of their careers to this losing effort? Now in all honesty I could care less if the east never got another raise. If they want to keep killing themselves I am all too happy to provide gun and bullets. The attrition train the people keep spoutin off about only serves the cry babies while the capts will continue to be paid 124/hr and then retire on 25k a year with PBGC. I am good with that and I hope they are too if you really expect to succeed.

AWA320
Heck bring your lawsuit now why wait, and YOUR PBGC benefit is how much? MM!

Ignore what was poised to you. And in the 20 years previous the East has never gone out on strike, your group hasnt met a concession you havent liked.

Hmmm....weren't you the one that was recently arguing that in '92 the pilots should have honored your strike?

Apples and oranges and the majority of the fuelers are non-union, shw us hom many fuelers are IBT and what stations they are at?

What labor group voted and spun you out of the solar system? Seek them, blame them, blame yourself for being replaceable.

Dodge, deflect and attack, thats your typical MO, cant you answer the question poised to you? And I was a stock clerk, and left on my own to greener pastures.

So, show us what stations the fuelers are IBT and how many?

I will answer you this, the majority of the fuelers system wide are non-union and by the law they cannot sympathy strike, so if you think an $8 fueler will lose his job for a $100K+ a year pilot, you have another thing coming.

The stock clerk that knows all about the RLA is BAAAACK! Maybe the westies should have gotten him to represent them in court.
He's a legend in his own mind.

But he probably DOES know more about it than the westie's current lawyers.

This is a NEW Day! The East pilots of this airline have had enough... and I"m very confident when push comes to shove we will stand up for ourselves.
Having Struck and lost my job (rEAL) I understand the consequences, but when you have plumbers making more than FO's the time has come...

Don't get that confused with accepting the NIC, that is a calculated decision based on not screwing yourself for the rest of your career.

and yes 700UW nobody knows how this will play out but I applaud USAPA and Cleary for forming relationships with anyone that will listen.

That was one of ALPA's downfalls. Heck ALPA had conficts of interest between their own Union... REgional's vs majors... Big 3 vs the rest...

So I'm confident when the time comes we will act..

why all the anger towards the pilots? If it's your previous strike, yeah you can blame that on ALPA as well... Remember leadership starts at the top and we now have a tough, seasoned Leader.

Yes I do know about the RLA, I was a rep with the IAM for 15 years, worked for the Local, District and did work for the International. Attended all the college acredited classes at Placid Harbor and was on the Negotiating Committee for US M&R and CO's FAs. Worked on the largest organizing campaign in the airline history and won, besides many other items. Presented many grievances and attended and assisted in several arbitrations.

See once again you attack the poster instead of answering the questions.

Typical East Pilots.

So where did you get your law degree since you spew your legal decisions all over this thread? Where did you pass the bar and licensed to practice?

Yes, each MEC. Why do you have such difficulty with such simple concepts? You can bet that BOTH legal teams received checks signed by an officer of ALPA.

Why do you think the company gave each MEC $300,000, just because they liked them? No, it was to pay for the cost of the process, including the lawyers.

The checks were signed by the Merger Fund Committee chairman of the respective pilot group, not an alpa officer. Like I said....
dumber than a box of rocks.
