There are always going to be a few who do a better job of buttering their bread than the rest of us. That's a red herring.

Spoken like a true west pilot. Rationalization of illegal and immoral actions for their own gains. Oink, oink.

When? What? Where? Ask a question, you sound like your attorney Andy Jacobs. Oh, is this Andy?

I rest my case.

That is why you are having a lack of badge backers lately, you rest a case without facts or arguments. Say hi to 28j Jacobs, and oh we are not in Kansas anymore Toto(PHX District Home town advantage Court) Harper.

Its better for you and the angry baby fo club but not for the guy who is sitting in the left seat with 7 of more years left!! Yeah I am sure he's willing to keep up the buck 24 an hour for the remainder of hos career all for the angry babies. :stupid:

AWA320,

I can't speak for the guy (or gal) sitting in the left seat with 7 or more years left but I can tell you where I stand. I have 2 more years left and I can see no reason to throw those pilots junior to me under the bus. From my point of view in the next 2 years even if we could get together and get a contract I don't think there would be much improvement in my quality of life or even for those with more time remaining. I'm no longer here for the money so I fly the minimum possible. I just can't see throwing them under the bus. Perhaps we could get the opinion of one of those pilots with 7 or more years left?

Best to you and your family,

Bob

I have pretty much come to the conclusion that USAPA has ensured that my remaining years will be on LOA93 pay. So that PHX commute will be replaced by an upbid to the A330 and a $36/hr pay raise for the remainder of my career.

I am truly sorry the PHX thing never worked out for you, and a lot of other of our PSA folks. I for one believe you that commuting has never been the issue. For most of us, it has always been just a fact of life. The one time I made supposedly informed decision and moved my family to PIT..they closed it!

You will undoubtedly enjoy the Big Bus, and maybe someone else will move up one number on the little AB list, maybe a Reserve to Blockholder C/O, and maybe even an F/O up to AB C/O. I don't know about you, but my entire career has often been about just a "few numbers"....missed Holidays, that special block I wanted, or even that first chance to upgrade over 20 years ago. Of course it would be nice to have more moneys, but in this day and time the raise you are about to get is nothing to scoff at, despite the fact most all airlines are making more than us.

Attrition, moving up (or even staying put for lifestyle,) and even moving up to an International Widebody.."that's what I'm talking about!!!!" Of course everything has its price, but I have not seen a pay number yet that would make me want to give up those privileges, now or even the future (another merger!)

the most senior here really don't have it that bad.. Have you seen there lines? Pretty easy duty, weekends off, choice to pick up what they want.. Holidays off...
yeah the pay could be better but not too bad... Lucily we have guys like 767One and Oldie, and NYC busdriver... All guys who are takiing a stand against a NIC list that is so disgusting that it brings out their support even thought it does not affect them. They know the bottom 2/3 of this list has taken a beating over the last 20 years... I salute them for their support.

10 to go, and NO. There is no way the Nic gets in. Do the numbers. Take it and you get west cascade on top forever. If you had planned to go widebody the last 5 or so, you will never get it. The proof is the PSA experience. They WILL come.. I'll take my chances with LOA 93 grievance. I really believe we will win. If that happens? The pressure on anybody east is totally removed. All of you enjoy your holidays.

If that makes you feel better, have at it. It won't change your lot in life. You are still the lowest paid laughing stock, while most legacy f/o's make more than your A320 captains. How embarrassing for you.
What if the pay East comes to LOA 84? Your west buds are toast. Somebody else will be laughing. 😛

This is the kind of guy we flew with all those years ago, and learned a lot about having respect for the profession, and earning what you have. Instead of some artificial quota system that has no rhyme or reason. I really don't think these Mesa guys could ever figure this out. They want your job right now.....
