Is this the very best you have to offer?? You cant make an intelligent arguement so you resort to past issues with other pilots that resulted in their getting what ever they got?? I had hoped that stating your crash and kill record would be enough to end this BS but I see you HAVE to continue. Yeah I could bring up the fact that just a couple of months ago and east pilot pervert was snapping shots of a little girls snatch in the airport with his camara phone!!

You guys really are a bunch of crying babies thinking that we should spring for your fked up careers with ours. NEWS FLASH buddy, it wasnt the wests fault!!! AWA came to your aid when NO ONE ELSE WOULD!!! Instead of being thankful that you can still eat and feed your family you're an ungreatful a$$! I haven't seen or heard anyone try to claim that they did more than anyone else, even though I didnot read a single reference to ALPA in the media until AFTER the agreement for TSA to handle pilots differently from passengers. I DID see and hear references to APA, USAPA and Mike Cleary, even watched him on Fox news. ALPA probably just couldn't get it together quickly enough. Or, they didn't see a chance to make more cash.

Maybe while cleary was on his media tour ALPA was actually doing something. No, thats not possible. cleary is just pure awesomeness. I like to watch him on tv too.

There was a very broad analysis presented to the ALPA board by the East MEC which spelled it out perfectly. And, it was made public.

When does that 30 days to a new contract start? How about the seniority list? Anything?

Max CRJ700 capt pay at Horizon $121

So let me get this straight..you are going to "sue" until the company goes out of business and immediately jump over to another carrier? Do us all a favor and beat the rush. If you are so sure you can "recoup" so quickly, why not get a head start?

We will all make sure any potential employer has a good look at your goat videos and the like. Products from just the kind of aviation professional any airline would love to have on their payroll. I don't know what is more perplexing...you actually creating the videos or being stupid enough to put them on the internet for all eternity to see.

I can't speak for the guy (or gal) sitting in the left seat with 7 or more years left but I can tell you where I stand. I have 2 more years left and I can see no reason to throw those pilots junior to me under the bus. From my point of view in the next 2 years even if we could get together and get a contract I don't think there would be much improvement in my quality of life or even for those with more time remaining. I'm no longer here for the money so I fly the minimum possible. I just can't see throwing them under the bus. Perhaps we could get the opinion of one of those pilots with 7 or more years left?

Very rational respose Bob and let me say that I am sorry for you. I say that not because I have done anything to bring harm to your career but rather what AAA management and the RC4 did to your career. I can completely understand your statement in that even if a contract was reached today you still cound not recoup in 2 years what you have lost with LOA93. Now thats not to say that you couldnt make much more with the remaining 2yrs because you and I both know you could. Now if I were in that boat I would be more concerned with what can I do to take care of me and my family. We both know that those which you claim would be under this so called bus will NOT be there for you when you are 65, 66, 67 and so on! In two years I could take the raise and bank that while continuing to live like I was on LOA93 pay. A captain with 7 or more years really makes a huge dent in all that was lost with loa93.

I further think having looked at the numbers that no one would be under this so called bus. I lost with the NIC maybe a year of what I was expecting to get or rather my career expectation. DOH would have me lose all I have plus add about 14 yrs NEGATIVE, that is something that I just can not live with and is the ultimate bus under toss. I would much rather sue LCC out of business and start all over with whats left.

the most senior here really don't have it that bad.. Have you seen there lines? Pretty easy duty, weekends off, choice to pick up what they want.. Holidays off...
yeah the pay could be better but not too bad... Lucily we have guys like 767One and Oldie, and NYC busdriver... All guys who are takiing a stand against a NIC list that is so disgusting that it brings out their support even thought it does not affect them. They know the bottom 2/3 of this list has taken a beating over the last 20 years... I salute them for their support.

When I look at an RJ captain flying for Horizon making more than an east 73 or baby bus captain that #### gets under my nails with a passion :angry: . Have they been so beaten down that they have forgotton how to live???? This is supposed to be the best part time job in the world but working for LCC is more like being a grave digger, in fact grave diggers probably make more than the east. The nic only casued most of us a year more in the right seat and I can live with that. Like I said before I can not live with losing what I have and adding 14 more years in the negative that DOH would bring me. Now if the folks in the east cant see that, then there really isnt much else we need to discuss now is there???

10 to go, and NO. There is no way the Nic gets in. Do the numbers. Take it and you get west cascade on top forever. If you had planned to go widebody the last 5 or so, you will never get it. The proof is the PSA experience. They WILL come.. I'll take my chances with LOA 93 grievance. I really believe we will win. If that happens? The pressure on anybody east is totally removed. I really feel sad for you! What happens when you lose it???????? You see as a matter of contract law one needs to have a provision in the contract for a snap back. The mere expiration date of a contract does NOT cause a change in compensation as is the case when your collective bargaining agreements expires. Now I hope you do get it because you guys are so beaten that your decision now are based on complete lunacy.

Yep... I guess you're right... 1998 Wolfe used $1.8 BILLION in cash to buy back AAA stock (gearing up for the thankfully failed United merger). US Airways was flush with cash... in fact they probably had more cash on hand than most other carriers! Had Wolfe not done that... AAA would never have had to reorganize under Chapter 11, and we would not have been involved in this AWA mess!

Coulda, woulda, shoulda and you know your are probably correct on that BUT thats not the case today and we are all in the USAir sewer. Misery loves company and the east has us all swimming in piss and sht!! Remember if not for boeing and SWA we would have merged with ATA and done just fine. We would be much larger and more than likely purchased some of the liquidated assets of AAA. Parker got greedy and didnt want anyone else to grab any of the AAA assets even when there was no other carrier that could have at that time. Remember DAL and NW were on ch11 as was UAL. AA was in money trouble and was threatening to file as well. Only the LCC's were somewhat flush and I couldnt see JB or airtran making a run on much of the assests but maybe who knows!

Not only did the consultant provide a public report he provided a private report that has been hidden from the pilot group by ALPA and now USAPA.

No need for a head start because you see making sure the world of aviation knows the truth about the dishonor and total lack of any shread of integrity of the east will fall upon us. I'm not worried in the least because I know the law and I know contract law very well. What Seaham has done to you guys is nothing short of immoral and the losses you will have paid for will be too much for many to bear. LOA93, pension investigation and the DJ will all but cause total meltdown. In reality RR the east will be the real culprit in the destruction of this company but you wont believe that even when you are collecting unemployment checks!!!!
