US Pilots Labor Discussion

Our spat will work itself out, by hook or crook, and we'll end up with a lousy contract.
Only the west would vote for a lousy contract since they are afraid to fight for something better, hopefully by now you know Doug is not your friend as you have always thought. I doubt anyone east will vote for that POS Kirby proposal. And we don't care if this place goes TU. (I would perfer it not though).

Umm, I don't think Mesa was around when I started flight training in '78.

Probably well before you were born, Missy.

Okay I will retract my Mesa comment, unlike some I'm willing to take back something I said if it was incorrect.
It's just the Mesa mentality that permeates from the West, I couldn't help myself.

Military? Just curious what you flew...tends to give an insight into how someone's mind works.

'78..I was born...barely....

My husband however was out flying already.

I never thought Doug was my friend, I can assure you that. I still stand by my hunch. You ended up with Loa93. Yeah, there was more to the story, and there were circumstances, etc etc. I think it will be the same kind of thing here, there will be more to the story, and 'circumstances.' We are just to discumbubulated.

That's just me. Even Rick Dubinsky coulnd't be Rick Dubinsky in the wrong environment.

What have I been telling everyone since the beginning of the MERGER: ALPA employed a flawed process that the company uses to it's advantage! It has driven a wedge....most likely an immovable wedge, that only with time and new blood will heal itself.

The question now is.....how long can us airways survive?

What I have learned since the ACQUISITION is that a flawed union was founded that divided the pilot group. The company knows USAPA is weak, has no bargaining power and the company thanks Bradford everyday for busting our union. You can't fix stupid and I have doubts about reform school for USAPA.

The only fix for uscaba is to throw it's rotting corpse in the fire. The same fire they've been steadily marching toward for years.

Fine, I will start over with you as well Missfit. I never flew in the commuters but I have a lot of respect for those pilots who are flying through the weather and not above it. I don't understand the Mesa mentality argument. What is that all about? Were there no Mesa pilots hired out East?

My background? After college, charter, corporate, airline domestic and international (furloughed) then HP. Over 30 years with no accidents or violations. Knock on wood.

I thought you were a F/O, no? Maybe I have you pegged as the wrong guy.

Oh I am presently, but I served as a captain at a previous airline. Just pulling Sumadarson's circuit breakers a bit. He largely posts untruths with a dash of emotion. His attitude leaves me with the impression that he served at Mid Atlantic for a while and crys for DOH because it is the only way to keep his career on life support.

I never applied to US Air. Instead, US Air applied at America West and like a fool, Doug hired em. As a result, the West pilots have exchanged upgrades in less than 7 years (less than a year in the 80's) to the stagnation and furloughs today. There is a reason that many of us did not want to apply to the career stagnate airline US Air. My choices were SW and America West. Not the dying dinosaur who was way past it's prime. Besides I had no desire to be anywhere close to the East Coast.

Our pilots flying at the time of the merger will not hand their upgrade or job to a furloughed pilot. That is the DOH scheme we will not allow on our property. Not now, not ever. We wil fight it with our without the help of Leonidas. Guaranteed.

Thank you Doug Parker

Thanks Doug for transferring the East infection of furloughs and stagnation to West pilots.
Thanks Doug for pairing us up with people who don't have the hint of integrity.
Thanks Doug for not having any backbone to stand up to thugs trying to ruin your airline.

Thanks Doug for this mess of a merger.
Bet you could kick yourself for not choosing SW but then you would have missed all this fun.

Oh Bob, I seriously doubt he "chose" AWA over SWA. By his behavior on here I'm guessing they were the one's doing the choosing.

I talked to a SWA F/O in LAS the other day. Seems he left AWA after 14 years to go to SWA. Hmmm.........

Here's a news flash for you snappy......the 7 year upgrades were over for AWA no matter what and all of you are better off with the merger than without, unless you were ready to start over.

Ok fine then, just didn't want to have the wrong guy in mind. So you were a benevolent captain. Just a little C/B tweaking as I know how you westies think of guys that used to be captains wearing 4 stripes and all.............. B)

I know sum/nos has not replied to the implication that he was a '99 hire, but you do know that a lot of guys got that idea from Jimbo, and he had the wrong guy, right?

Finally. You hit the nail on the head.....DOUG!

NO Skippy Doug isn't the problem. The problem is every east pilot that prefers to allow Cleary to keep the pilot group divided so that they cannot mount any unified defense against Doug.

So when you see west pilots looking right through you with disdain, it is because you are a willing accomplice of management.

Proud of yourself yet?

Flashback 2002, america west pilots selective slowdown. They are turning in the East pilots accusing them falsely of such, every chance they get, it was ok for them back then.

Notice the response from doug parker, it parrots the isom scums lecture in the phx news. I will provide stock option activity of the former america west pilot management in the last five years in a few days. isom is starting to let his pink panties show in the latest phx crew news, he is worried that current conditions may hurt his stock options. What a wimp he is. I think kirby and isom would make a cute couple, the only problem is who would be butch, neither are qualified.

I had to start over and wanted an airline that had growth potential. We went from hiring and upgrades to silch after 2005. Next thing we get is furloughs. You get recalls. I work with East pilots over here that saw no future over there and bailed out. Then Us Air lands on their heads again. So don't tell us over here we got some kind of lotto ticket when we got the bill. I get a monthly bill to prop up someone else's career expectations at the expense of mine.
