What I said is historical fact. That is a true statement, however, due to different circumstances, only 2 of those "experiments" have totally worked out......not a proven science yet. So, you are only telling half a truth.
All trader said was that the last 4 arbitrations used relative position by equipment. That is historical fact. You said that that was wrong. Your pathetic attempts to change the discussion just so you can delude yourself into thinking you're smarter than everyone else doesn't change that. None used DOH as the basis, what happened or didn't happen after the arbitration award was issued, etc. doesn't change what the arbitrator ruled. Once the arbitrator makes a ruling, the contents of that ruling are set - the contents don't change or the arbitrator doesn't issue a new award even if the original award is never used.
Yeah, you and Jim are both traitors to your co-workers, so I am not surprised that he would stand up for you.
The only way we would get a delta +3% is if we merge with AA.Good questions Bean. For the half-cent/one-vote it's worth; I simply can't vote for a nic inclusive contract on principal...period. Having said that; I believe it's the duty of any union to strive to maximize wages/benefits/etc for it's members, and to afford the membership the right to vote on any/all truly significant issues. Were Parker to offer a non-nic based contract that provided Delta +3%, I'd think it'd be very easily passed. With nic?...I honestly don't know, with any actual certainty, how it would shake out in the east. I should note that my "Guess" is that it wouldn't pass. Despite all the chat room "debate" and "certainty" as to legal issues/outcomes....well....we none of us really know what type of "deal" might be worked with American. Consider the sly manner in which US change of control language was thwarted last time. The only rational certainty is that management is lusting to do a deal, and that our employee concerns aren't even a blip on their radar, unless they could prove troublesome to consummating said deal.
Addendum: Should it seem ludicrous to even assume any potential "NO!" vote from the east on even Delta+3, FatherAbraham nails a very salient point: "Mergers create job losses as a rule. We all know this. Trick is, not being the casualty. Historically, the most junior is at risk." With Nic?....A lot of folks would feel they were, very likely, voting themselves out of a job, for a perhaps only very brief period of semi-decent pay.

I will answer....
1st of all, Silver could rule against the NIC.
2nd......the NIC does not go into effect until a single contract is voted in.....therefore "our" say in the matter.
3rd......with AA slotting, you guys will suffer the most, regardless of the NIC ruling, but only for 5 yrs until a bunch of us retire. As with the original arguement.....after a few more years, the airline will be yours......only now deluted by the 9000 AA pilots.
It will all come down to what Parker offers. He has always been in control and has lined his pockets with our dispute. You are a fool if you think Parker gives a rat's ### about you or me.

No baiting here boo boo.Boo Boo,

Still banging that frag drum. Get over it. If you are so sure of your position why get rid of us?what makes you think Dougie won't just sell off the west to raise cash , make it work and or eliminate the issue?

I know you guys have been pounding the majority rules things for years. But if we merge and get a DAL +3% you are not going to be in the majority. Your 3000 votes against 11,000 will not carry the day. Nicolau included.
As I have said before AA does not care about our seniority fight. They want us as far down the list as possible. But you will not stop a Nicolau inclusive contract if it give The AA guys a raise. So vote no but it will be inconsequential.
A fictional character in a sucky movie said it better than I can:
"Loyalty above all else... except honor." ...............................Lieutenant Vincent Hardy from the movie Striking Distance
Maybe you and EastUS1 can rent it and watch it together.
Because Parker has been working with them inTempe all day.all due respect, clear....
but why wouldn't the AA pilots want to put you even further down the SLI just to serve their own better? Give me one reason why they would want to give you the NIC.
Just trying to discuss....no offense.

Because Parker has been working with them inTempe all day.
He wants this integration to go without a hitch and he knows anything other then the Nic coming to the table would be a DFR and a lengthy on at that.
He told the APA to use the Nic and the rest is MB.
SLOTTING breeze. Make peace with it.
1st. Wrong. Silver will tell the company and usapa use the or suffer the law suit. You clowns crack me up. What makes think you will have a say? Any you Clowns see Doug ask usapa permission? Fools, you wont have a choice.
