He was referring to the fact that the contract ratification came after the integration process rather than having it come the other way around. Our setup allowed one side to hold the other hostage by not ratifying a contract.

He WAS NOT referring to the Nicolau award itself as you'd so like to spin this toward that direction.

While their intentions are certainly nothing in the way of DOH, which I don't expect to see as the AA/US merged list in this case; what the APA will think of the nic seems an unknown at this time. I'd think they'll have to see what it would mean for their people before any can envision what their opinion of it will be. They've made mention of the age of the US group. Whether they'll be thrilled with the idea of the nic, and where that would place so many young folks from AWA? = Your guess is as good as mine.
