Those are interesting cities. U already flies SJO. I think U would rather keep Paris, Rome, Dublin, and Munich. And before long you'll have access to those trips too. Both work groups should count their blessings.

You'd be surprised to know what jr. f/as can pick up, especially during the holidays and summertime. Some of those destinations are seasonal, and I have friends--jr. flight attendants--who have picked up Barcelona, Venice and every other city in the US transatlantic network. Those " old HP" f/as who will fly europe will really have a great time on their layovers. And they will be heartily welcomed by the "old US" crews when they come. As a side note, I wonder how many HP f/as formerly based in Columbus would be interested in transferring back east. Can anyone from HP chime in on that question?

ebwgs . i don't think hp had a f/a base in columbus just a hub. i could be wrong.

etops1 iirc they had a base there prior to 9/11. I'm almost 100% sure they had one at one time during the 90s.

OK, U folks have told us about all their wonderful International service. Now they seemingly want Hawaii too. Do you want ANC and SJO also? How about YVR and YYC?

Is there anything else you want from our junior workforce? Maybe some layoffs for us?

Don't ever make a negative remark to anyone on this forum after this whining. What a crybaby you are!!

Geez!!

First, I bet the US workforce wants the same respect they will give the HP workforce.

Second, the US workforce has seen so many layoffs they wouldn't wish that on anyone.

Trust me, as a VFF, we hear what they b**ch and moan about--and it isn't about HP integration.

What?? Did I say that?? NO. I have worked for US which as MANY bases and I (with every other f/a and pilot) am used to having routes and them being taken away. I am happy with my International trips and West coast trips. I have stated this too many times before.....you are no longer a regional carrier, but a GLOBAL carrier with many bases with many new routes. Why is everyone only focusing on negative issues of this merger?

hmm, lets see. may be many hp'ers aren't too thrilled about knowing that with any type of downturn, or better yet, doug rolls out of bed one day and thinks the operation can run more efficiently with one less crew base(for whatever reason), that they will lose their jobs to a group that was "dying on the vine." if you and the rest of the usariens cannot (at the very least) understand the potential plight of most hp'ers in the event of consolidation, then you guys are either dishonest, blind, or just plain stupid!!!

lax

If that were to happen as you say, then many "USAIRIENS", as you say will lose out too......because of this seniority integretion. So in that case it's not only the "HP'ers" that would lose out....it would be accross the board including the "USAIRIENS" Funny, in 16 years with this company, that's the first time I've heard the US people called that.....good one! B)

You U people are funny.

The air of superiority because "We fly to Europe and some Caribbean islands and you don't" (nose in air).

"You're with a REAL airline now."

Ugh.

Good luck HP-ers.

we are not implying that stinky bear. we are just saying that us is bringing in alot of realestate to this merger just like hp is also. together hp/us will be a"real airline" with eachothers work groups hand in hand.
