Since the company is being so rediculous with this uniform debacle, (the all weather coats for petite sizes are now on backorder till MAY?)

And the rollout date keeps changing, I say one of the ways we can protest ACROSS THE BOARD is by rolling out our uniforms on the same day, together, regardless of what mgmnt says.

They can't send us all home, and we could probably grieve it if we got into trouble since many of us have uniform pieces full of holes (how unprofessional)

What say we pick a day, spread the word, and wear our uniforms from that day on.....

A protest like this could prove a major point without losing the company any money. Unless those idiots sent us all home...........they'd be shooting themselves in the foot

Yep, I forecast that we won't be wearing the uniform until July!!!! I asked that idot Steve N. in the crew service center for a sweater and 1 pair of pant's months ago and he said "no", that we don't have any pieces anymore. My uniform looks like sh**! So I will still wear it and feel like a schelp wearing it because they won't give me anything else........and I asked for stuff in Sept and here it is almost March!!!! 7 months ago, way to go managemnt.

Way to go Sherri S.! 😱 I would rather wear the new uniform and my old coat then the threads I am wearing now!

don't be stupid guys. this will not acheive a thing. you can blame sherri all you want but this is not her fault. this is a twin hill issue. they could not deliver the product in the time frame that they promised to the company . it is not her fault that many people still do not have their uniform items. it is twin hills fault. there are things that yes we can blame managment but this isn't one of them. we could blame them for using twin hill though. but who knew they could not deliver.

you can reply back and call me a koolaid drinker or what ever the f## you want but sherri is not the person who is shipping the uniforms to your home. twinhill is.
and i will stand by what i just wrote. trust me managment is as pissed as we are that the uniform rollout will be postponed.

The recalled F/A's are getting generic navy blue uniforms because of this whole debacle. It's going to be interesting.

Well, at least they could not meet the deadline promised for the amount of money the company was willing to pay....

that's my point. they promised something that they could not deliver. so it should be twin hill that should be getting the blame .from what i heard twin hill was overwhelmed by the number of orders. i am not saying that the company is not completely at fault here. they should have probrably given twin hill a realistic time frame but they wanted the uniform roll out to be in conjunction with the new envoy service ,new envoy seats ect ect.but at the end if the day . twinhill could not keep up .

You're just asking for trouble, trying to use logic on this board 😛

yeah well sometimes you have to because it gets rediculous on here. <_<
I think it would be great to have a uniform that isn't in pieces. I asked people at work and some people thought it would be fun, but that we'd definitely be sent home LOL. I just want something that fits.....and I sort of like the scarf. Ok. a little more than sort of.

It would just be nice if something we looked forward to came to fruition.

I can confirm the little peoples coat sizes....I'll be freezing my arse off til May according to workbrain.

Well I totally understand what your saying Etops and appreciate the rationale. With that being said the company had cut off ANY orders of the current uniform LONG ago. So what are flight attendants to do if they can't replace an item? Go without? It was unforeseeable that Twin Hill would not be able to deliver on their promise but we STILL have a current uniform that needs to be provided. If the company lets the recalls wear a generic blue uniform then I guess it would be hard to write someone up for NOT wearing company issue pieces now right? Flight attendants have been told in the past about wearing their own shirts or blue pants right? Well this shall be quite interesting. Bad planning all the way around. 🙄

The recalled FA's were also told they could wear any coat and carry any luggage they want.

Twin Hill is a vendor who has not met their obligations.

It is management's error not to kick them to the curb.

Unless, of course, Twin Hill got the contract by buying some one making the decision to contract with them.

Then, that some one in management needs kicked to the curb.

Either way. expect an announcement soon.
