You were born sometime in 1959, and you have 37 years plus, and you have a good pension coming to you, sorry I'm not biting.
I answeed your question now answer mine. Are you happy with the pace of negotiations?

UA ramp and sent in negotiations, that would be mechanics represented by the IBT.

And UA specifically stated they needed a two week break to reevaluate wages due to AA giving a huge raise to the agents.
That is true.
The IBT  (MX) and the company had to "reassess" , since the landscape has changed, especially by the announcements from DL and the CWA deals.  Hopefully they will get their deal done. I think that our new boss wants things done.  If the deal is good, it will set a roadmap for AA's MX.
As far as ramp and passenger service goes; your upcoming deal will set the bar for us. And also is Southwest gets a deal before we get to the table. Our turn will be in '16.

Therefore, all eyes are on you guys to get the best deal possible. That will help us at UA and WN. So the Association MUST do what is right and get an industry leading contract.

Why not form an Association between the IAM and IBT. I hear they work beautifully

I'm guessing this will take about 6 months max to conclude? My Birthday is in May and the timing couldn't be any more perfect. My Birthday present to myself is going to be a 2014 Mustang (Maybe convertible) to go along with my 1998 one that I will do a full restoration on.
The idiot says restoring a 98 mustang is like restoring a Plymouth K car

AA agreed to the clause with UAL because they have a Union and are represented and will have a contract. They won't agree to do that with DL because DL can set any rate they want either up or down.
You also really believe that that they're going to play leapfrog against each other every other month? Ok. Do you want to buy that bridge now?
The ONLY reason that 14.5% happened in the first place is because the IAM drive over there is scaring the fashizzle out of DL management and they're hoping MONEY will shut it down for good.
Thank you IAM for the pressure. Keep up the good work.
So you're basically capitulating that our neg committee can't get a pay adjustment clause that the FAs got in the shadow of the $8 billion dollar profits this year.
Weak.

In the late 90s  the LUS  contract had pay parity +1%. it was reviewed each year so it can be done. but I think you might be asking to much they are still fighting over the Association headline should it be IAM/TWU or TWU/IAM. I realize this is very important issue after all how would McCartney/Lennon look on yout 45s

Well if you admit that you're an idiot then are trying to convince me not to restore a car "I" like and has served me well for for 12 years now?

Sorry I don't take the advice of self professed idiots.

Not at all. Read again. I specified a Non Union group in particular. But no that clause would certainly not be open ended for the life of our contract. And you don't have to have a business degree to figure that one out.

What group were you compared to and can you provide that Article or LOA?

I really would be interested in seeing that in writing?

Again I don't take the advice of idiots but I'm glad that you continue to feel the need to express your opinions anyway.

So you're ok with AA making $8B this year, then $7B next year, $8B the year after that and $9B the year after that while we get 2 or 3% raises and DL employees get 5 figure profit sharing checks the next 5 yrs along with larger percentage raises.

Weak
The airlines are in their most profitable period, ever.
If our negotiating committee can't put a clause in that cashes in on that, they suck.

The company will have no problem taking back that DL +3 in a matter of weeks if their financial footing gets weak.
We need to make sure we get as much of the spoils as we can if things stay rosey.

I'm not on the negotiating committee but NO. I DO NOT care about about anyone else's house except the one that I live in. If my house is sound (SCOPE) and it's set up the way I like it, if the guy down the street wants to build a pool in his yard that's up to him.

AND you guys are already pulling your hair out like mad dogs to get at the money, you really want to sit around waiting longer for that Wonka Golden Egg? "Veruca Salt"
