Tim are you a masochist or something? The last time you started throwing rocks at people they nailed you upside down to a cross. All that dirt on you never goes away man and their are plenty of people who are more than happy to keep reminding everyone about it.

If a war isn't necessary then ok. But if it is, then I'm not fearful of anything. Time will tell but if the Association continues to stall, then I'll be on them bigtime. We have 32,000 members who are worth better than a union not getting to the table. If it's on Parker then I understand but I don't believe it is and I don't want the union to keep firing away silly updates blaming management. If we get to negotiations and management are tigher than two coats of paint, then blame management, but it makes no sense to blame management prior to being prepared ourselves.

Generally, the IAM doesn't give updates. They usually just say, "Can't tell ya". There is one negotiator that does usually give updates, Charlie brown on here. Few others do, but he does and he isn't arrogant or anything. But members do want updates. If someone goes to a convention, they should give a report If someone goes into negotiations or otherwise, they should give a report of progress. They don't have to spill the beans but a report of progress is respectful.

There has to be reason why you would take such an interest here. Either you are being paid by the IAM now, or hope to be later. I really dont have a problem with it, im sure my dues is used for even more questionable endeavors. I come to work for one thing and that is to earn a paycheck and when my own union is holding back my earnings for some reason that is beyond me I'll speak out. If you claim not to be on the IAM payroll youll have to understand  why people think you are meddling

I wouldn't want to push 700 too far.  With the number of posts he has, he obviously has a lot of time on his hands and has the potential for vindictiveness up the ying yang (kind of like my ex).

I see the AMT's have been "updated" with more ridiculous news (not meeting again until 11-9). Of course it's then the Thanksgiving break followed by the Christmas break followed by...you get the picture. This Association some of you were so giddy about is worthless and doing more harm than good. It will continue to be a joke until someone takes control. Words cannot describe what these clowns have created.
Where are the "drive by" comments from the Ass supporters??

i supported the Association but it seems as if its taking unnecessary time risk. Obviously they dont know what they are doing but they could luck out a bit. The jury is still out. They say they are going to get us a leading industry contract. Time will tell.

That November 9 meeting is for the Maintenance "seniority" integration committee. Not either one of the Negotiating committees.

At every town hall, Parker was asked about negotiations.
The answer was always the same.
The company is ready to negotiate tomorrow.
They are waiting for the Association to tell them when.

The hold up is the Association, more specifically, Sito Pantoja.
Throw him an email and see what you get for an answer.
