Look at their current contract. Holidays, OT, Vacations. They already have things back that we don't.

they had a kinda,sorta snapback clause in their bankruptcy contracts thats why they got those things back

700UW do you or can you find a copy of that IBT agreement for Co ramp? Maybe we should all in the interest of knowledge, read what the IBT handed over to the IAM?

I still have my copy.
It was the same as the company's "Fly To Win Handbook" that had some very good points, but didn't have any scope. (side note: Some people felt they didn't need any scope because even when the cuts came - when everybody else was filing for BK - people weren't affected that much because a lot of people didn't lose their jobs; we just lost a lot of other things like our double time and a half; and some monetary cuts, and a few workrule changes.  And soon afterwards in late '05 thru '07 there was even a large hiring wave) But the unionized workgroups like MX; pilots; and the FA's got restored faster and much more than we did.  Cargo was protected (till the IAM sold that one out on a side LOA).  On Day One, the IBT fought for and seven stations were saved, (but eventually those was lost in the end)
 
Bottom line was, we (CO and Air Mike) wasn't the hindrance in the contract.......they (the negotiators) just got outmaneuvered at the table, while the company threw more money at the members who took it.
 
A perfect storm for disaster................

Always have been. But now that they see the shiny gold bars, they're scratching and clawing to get at them as fast as they can.

They're salivating frankly. (I have to be honest)
