With your attitude about the meetings no wonder why your group is in the mess it is, apathy is terrible. And if you dont attend the meetings and get involved you have no right to complain. And your always defending the incompetence of your leaders.

Never was a mechanic (thats how you spell it) I was an IAM rep for years,Utility and a Stock Clerk, was on the Mechanic and Related Negotiating Committee at US, and was on the Continental Airlines Flight Attendant Negotiating Committee also.

And the US M&R all ready reached and ratified a post bankruptcy CBA a few years ago, that included raises and a pension. And they are preparing to go into Section 6 negotiations for a new CBA (that would be the second one since the merger) in January.

See our house is in order and has been, merged contracts and seniority, all one group, work east and west planes.

Thats leadership for you, its five years since the merger and your still at square one, hmm, thats not leadership.

Never underestimate your opponent!!!!!! That is definitely a mistake on your part. The f/a group is tired of the union not respecting the memberships wishes. The tables have turned so watch your backside because it may just get kicked.

PHLfa88 have you attended any of the meetings? Because if you did you would have heard MF give his presentation and you would understand why everyone is livid! This TA is horrible and MF is not representing us in our best interest. He is confused with who he works for. He works for the membership and not the company!!!

Guess you need to go back and read the posts again. If you took the time to read like you take the time to attack you would not have to ask. Just like going to the meetings and hearing what MF has said you would hear what everyone has been saying was said by MF. Take the time to educate yourself like others have taken the time to do. Your picture definitely reflects how everyone feels about the TA that is currently being negotiated.
