AFA labor discussion (Work related)

If we Re-elect Ann, we will get exactly what we have been getting.
If we Elect Cathy, she will shake up the current "asleep at the wheel" LEC.

International & Local don't want that. They want things as they are.
What do you (the f/a) want?

If you like the status quo, re-elect Ann, if not vote for Cathy. Simple as that.

Ann = MF

Cathy = New Leadership

Mike gave US the Reserve T/A. Blockholder here....Ann and Mike need to go.

Mike sold out the Reserves. Mike has no respect for the fact that we're only as strong as our weakest link (the reserves). Allow the company to abuse the minority while placating the majority and you're on the road to a doomed long term stategy.

As a reserve, thank you for your support! We should be strong and concerned for our entire workforce. I have actually heard reserves say they are not as conserved with reserve issues as there are 300+ coming in 2011 and they should move up. I was appalled as this is exactly the kind of attitude that got us in this mess. I thank every blockholder who is supportive of reserves. As I have said before, those who can hold a secondary occasionally need to read the contract as a reserve as they definitely know how pathetic our quality of life is. With this company, who knows where they will land unless they are very senior and we all know how high those figures are with this company.
 
Obviously you do not know Cathy and you are obviously believing in what trash Ann says. The ironic thing about what you said is describing Ann to a tee. She doesn't even show up to meetings on time if she shows up at all. Amazing how people will talk about someone who will actually stand up and fight for us. She has always been there whenever I needed help when no one in the union office would return my call. So as I said you do NOT know Cathy and this is nothing more than a pathic attempt to trash someones good name.

Hey, you are Cathy's good friend...I get that. Maybe even neighbors...I don't know. You want to support your friend...all well and good. I get that.

But yes, I do know Miss Cathy. But just on the job. We do not hang out together. And for your information...she does not have a good name on the line. Maybe you should get out there for a change and really hear what people have been saying about her for years.

This isn't a pathetic attempt at trashing someone's good name........She didn't have one to begin with. She's been a train wreck for years. Sorry but true.

This to let people know that aren't from CLT who they may be voting for. I know folks are for change...I get that.

But what they really want is a new contract that respects them as professionals. We don't have one on the table as yet but I believe it won't be long. IMHO.

Ann and Glenda have always been there for me when I've needed them. They have always returned my calls. And when they couldn't get back to me, Beth has helped me. I have no issues with their effectiveness as my AFA reps. And our new transferees need to know this also.

Besides answering a phone or getting the company to pay a claim for you what has Ann done that is so monumental for the membership? What has her voting history been like? Hmmmm probably about as much as John in Local 70 has done. NOTHING! ! ! ! Moving along. 🙄
 
The tide is turning and THAT is all that matters. Look around at AFA on the local, MEC and Int'l level and you see disconnect, panic and members ready to burn people like witches. This union better snap into gear and listen to the VERY people that put their sorry butts in office. My message to AFA....You WILL do what the membership requests you to do and you WILL represent everyone fairly. Something we're not seeing today. They may try to act calm, cool and collected but behind closed doors they are crapping their pants. As they should. 😉

Well I care and that's enough. Oh new hires and 56 per hour. Can we say hail Mary. Flores should be ashamed. But he isn't. You can spin it better than that or ya loosing your touch?
