Just eyeballing FAA AGC Quarterly reports, from what I have seen so far, USAIR has had more maintenance violations thrown against them than all the 3rd party facicilties in the USA.

it wasn't an error caused by inhouse...if it was so why did the manufacturer supply a mod for the engine oil system??

My job is as good as gone already and when it finally goes I will NOT seek employment in aviation ever again. The liability I accept for the pay I get???? It's not worth it. I've had it!!

Maybe when Bush grants amnesty to those 25 million illegal immigrants in this country they can all work for the third party outfits !! Heck, many of them are probably there already :down: :down: .

Very well put!!!
After my 'job' has been terminated, I'm taking my 30+ years in aviation experience with me!!!
I shudder now every time I get in one of these flying aluminum tubes because I do not trust the OSV to have the dedication that we have had.
Unfortunately, going to 'righty-tighty' class will not give these people the experience required to do the job and us 'old salts' will not be there to correct their 'a$$umptions'. The 'one-click' past the elbow may work for some things but a torque schedule was not written as a 'guide'!!!

Flying (for me) has been on an 'emergency basis' and if I don't drive, I don't go!!!
