BRAVO!!!!!
What would happen if all the flight attendants just refused to collect the $2----I have serious problems with not having any type of free "hydration" available for customers stuck on an airplane for 5 or 6 hours!! Plus the fact that this is all being rolled out with our the APPROPRIATE TOOLS(once again) being in place or solid procedural guidelines--it's going to be a big mess. ANd once again, the frontline employees are being sent into battle with our customers by Tempe?
Yaaaawn. Why are we responsible and required to offer "free" hydration again? They know they will be stuck on the airplane for 6 hours, and there is plenty of potable water if they have not had access to newspapers or TV's for the last year or so.
Plus, I'm sure it won't be a big deal to just comp something at your discretion.... It's not like they are making us count the cans, so FA's will have to use their discretion, and their heads....
What would happen if we just refused to do it???
Also, what appropriate tools do you need to collect $2? I think half a brain should suffice.
And for those who say "its no big deal--its only $2"---you have little grasp of reality on an airplane. Either that or you are secretly drinking the kool-aid.
Aah the infamous "kool aid" defense. IMO, the same FA's that whine, moan and complain about every single change will be the same ones that have a huge problem with this. (We all know who they are...) They will stop moaning when they realize they are in fact doing LESS work, and can sit and read OK magazine and knit just a little bit longer.....
The rest of us will collect the $$, and move the trolley through with a smile, not really creating as much drama as anticipated here.... I do enjoy the stories of chaos and anarchy.. all for $2.
