So you are saying all stations except AA hubs will be non-union if TWU is voted in as the barraging agent for the combine fleet service group and all former US fleet service employees will be staple to the bottom of the seniority list of the merged companycltrat,
TWU represents only members in the hubs at AA. Outline stations goodbye. Seniority integration is pretty simple based on TWU history... former US employees' years of service not recognized. US at the bottom of the list. They did it to IAM represented TWA employees and trying to do it to IAM represented former Air Tran ramp employees.

Are you sure this how it would play out

No one knows for certain. All I know is AA members are only represented in the hub cities at AA. TWU's historic position on seniority integration is us first and you next (i.e. American's acquisition of TWA and their current position regarding seniority integration with SWA and Air Tran ramp). The issue is now in front of an arbitrator. The TWU's position, regarding seniority integration in the past, is what my opinion is based on. If the TWU were to be elected as the bargaining representative of a merged AA and US for fleet I believe this is what the US members can expect. The TWU represents only the employees in the hubs at AA. The outline stations are subcontracted to American Eagle or whomever. Substandard wage scales, benefits, and work rules due to the fact they are not union represented. A major storm is on the horizon for IAM represented Fleet and MTC. and related at US.

Wow, that's some pretty ignorant #### right there chief. You worried about the TWU upsetting your campaign for elected office or something?
How about you do a little research before you start spouting off about the TWU at AA.
http://twu510.org/
Scroll down to Title III contract and see exactly what the TWU contract stipulates.
Here is the Kasher Arbitration decision, you know the one where the TWU and IAM went to binding arbitration regarding seniority integration?

I don't know #### about your contract but I'm not on the AA board spewing ignorance like it's gospel truth either.
Read a little bit, then post away.

I have one question to ask those that are running for office to replace the ND. (1) and only one.
What would you do to save fleet from the above statement ?

mike33,
In defense of the ND team this is an issue that is outside of their control. The company negotiates agreements with unions not on their property while refusing to negotiate in good faith with the ones who are on their property. I am confident the ND team will do every thing they can to promote our intersts. Likewise, the same is true for the Leadership For Progress Team. We are dealing with a corporate agenda who's only interest is the return to the shareholders. The company continues to put all labor organizations on the property on the defense with their agenda. This strategy will and should be viewed as an insult to the labor organiizations on US property. As I have stated earlier, we are not the enemy.

I looked at their contract, the Allegheny-Mohawk Labor Protection, and Public law 110-161 ( Airline Mergers and Labor Intergration Provisions Under Federal Law). All three state "Fair and Equitable manner of senority integration". If both sides disagree it would go to arbitration. Thanks JFKFleet for the links. I printed most and will be reading all weekend.

Hey "33"... I’ll tell you exactly what they would do… not friggin’ jack S***!
People, be advised… this potential merger is a “game changer”… all of this rhetoric about Delaney and all the petty little complaints regarding the N/D Team will be of NO consequence in the long term!
We could very well be looking at a Representation Election, and a Transition Agreement before any CBA! My advice is simple… keep the Teams we have in place. They are working on Merger and Acquisition Language to modify the existing CBA in a LOA scenario. From that point forward… it will be about democracy and legal proceedings!
