The timing into voting for raises for everyone east and west including station I and II equals has come and will be voted and decided by Sept. 5. West loves everything. We also will be awarded payout for sick days that would off set profit sharing. But, we have nothing to guarentee we could get paid out, yearly, for eight sick days the new contract provides. If we could be able to get compensated, yearly, for the 8 sick days, if we needed them, wouldn't that almost account for the lack of profit sharing. Hopefully, this is in the contents of this agreement. Otherwise, no, we should not agree on NO Profit sharing.

Thats not a pay out, thats a payoff. There buying your vote.If thats a company offer it is on the verge of illegal.Show me the letter, show me the writing.Lets see the signatures on it.

Canale,Hemingway....hum another attempt to split the work force.Stay the course vote no.This is your shot in the ring dont throw in the towel. There back peddling my freind trying anything to get your yes vote. You have only known these people and this part of the union what less than 2 years.....dont believe anything a manager tells you. They have no right to bargain in the breakroom. Forward this to em,I dont care.Look at the flag its in distress.

every person has a different situation. im young and relatively new to this company compared to some of the senior agents. im not looking to make a career out of US Airways. eventually ill move along and pursue the career that i want. but at the moment im holding on to my job (which i like) and wouldnt mind the raise.

basically i got nothing to lose and everything to gain. but i can understand why most senior agents would vote NO. alot was taken away from you and you want a big chunk of it back. but seeing as i dont have a history in US Air, much less a future with the company, im willing to take the money now instead of waiting 3 years for a new contract. i seriously doubt ill be working for the company by then.

i know it might sound selfish but at the end of the day i have to look out for whats best for me. hopefully you understand where i come from

then quit go somewhere else where you want to be rather than screw all the long timers

Believe me when I tell you, "B" contract and even "C" contract is sitting in Parkers desk drawer and it's better than what they are offering you now. He wants it signed, desperatley! The pilots will never sign though. There will never be one certificate.

send it back to parker's desk and say we want more!!!!! the IBT would not roll over like the company lap dog IAM... here rover.......fetch........ sit... good boy...... vote yes..... give snap backs....good boy...... here's a bone for you..... go back to licking yourself until i need you again..........

Please explain how the IBT was not able to obtain a new CBA with over two years of negotiating with Parker if you would not roll over?

Or if the IBT would roll over how did you not get enough A-Cards for an election against the IAM?

Seems like you all rolled over pretty well for Parker.

The IAM is getting a taste of the company's stalling for the last year - speaking of rolling over that fleet TA is a disgrace.

you answered your own question, we would'nt roll over. besides he knew what was coming down and stalling us helped him in his master plan

and the card issue. we had so many of your iam brainwashed types that were too scared to change...

That's a good point. This t/a is interesting in that each station will see something different. If there is anything that could stop this from being ratified it is the profit sharing for 2007. Again, I think this deal represents a fair deal to the vast majority of workers and will be approved by a wide margin.

regards,

No Fair deal here! Look at the sacrifices across the board for a buck or two raise and job security for 4 more years...thats It?!?! We are not in bankruptcy and should have a better deal on the table...c'mon!
This t.a. is BULLS**T.

And I believe the vast majority see it how you do freedom. If you and your westie brothers and sisters vote this out then arbitration will not be any relief for you, only east siders. Therefore, I see the west voting this in overwhelmingly.

regards,

As a Westie, the arbitration factor does not influence my vote on this Bulls**t T.A. The terms of the T.A. are what influence my vote...and as stated in the above post, too many sacrifices to earn another buck or two an hour only to toss that back to increased medical expenses which in turn means no raise at all.... Take it back to the table this S**T won't fly. WTF?!?! Nothing short of insulting is what this is?

it seems some rampers are posting a bunch of papers inside bins saying "Vote NO!" and other rampers from other cities are getting those papers, crossing them out, and on the other side of the paper responding with "Vote Yes!"

i thought that was funny

so much for unionism and solidarity hu

Where was the solidarity when we formed Class I and Class II stations? Why did the Class I stations fight for the Class II stations pay rates? Class I- $17.00 Class II $15.60 Hmmm... Looks like solidarity to me...

When it is good for PHL it is the hell with everyone else. Yes, I heard the meeting... "Give us our $22 back and the hell with the rest of them!" And I am supposed to help you? I don't think so.

I do have a question here in regard to the vote. If the Company gets the drift that this T/A isn't going to slide thru, does anyone feel that they will "Sweeten" the pot a bit just days prior to the voting? Most here recall what took place the last time with the addition of PVD & BDL being upgraded to Class 1 stations at the eleventh hour to help sway the vote in the "Yes" direction, and it worked in their favor. I am curious to see what they might change this time if they get the drift that a NO vote is immenent....

Ok, thanks.. I figured that it was a possibility based on what took place with the last vote. When the company changed the status of those 2 stations, It gave them 60% of the eligible voters in class 1 stations, and prety much sealed the fate of the voting outcome. We all know that the company would like to settle this T/A, and escape the CIC issue ASAP...
