Hypothetical question.
If you were furloughed in '05 and were now to put in a xfr request and it was granted before OEI would you get your pay seniority back ?

Seriously Freedom, would you agree to say a 5% drop in pay? How
bout new outsourcing language that speeds things up?

Does RR have anything like the same views as you?

I suppose a lot of you aren’t poor , that you can’t feel the economy slowly shutting down ….

Once again, how many years have you been in the airline industry?

I feel the economy shutting down every day, that raise we fought for sucked away as energy prices climb!!!

Freedom

You best stop while you can. Your out of your league and you don't even know it. You hide behind a name that doesn't mean what it says.......

No true union person tells a brother that you will take his place at any cost. We as union members only replace during furloughs. You I think would definitely

cross during self-help I know, but its best to keep that kind of SH*T to yourself until the time comes. If you would truely do that then you should eliminate

the word WE in your posts, because WE are not you and You are not us.

Don’t think what I’m saying applies ONLY to fleet , I believe that EVERY union on the property that has gotten out of their BK contracts will return to them or willingly make concessions of some sort ….

I will not and do not intend to let people with poor decision making abilities dictate my future and the future of my co workers … if clrat doesn’t want to be here , then we can easily make it so that he can have his wish …..

My viciousness is driven by the belief that things in the united states economy are going to be getting a lot worse ….. every airline unions has lost it’s bargaining power anyways …. Is the situation hopeless , maybe not .. but are unions in a far weaker state, yes they are …. But clrat can’t seem to understand that … we must fight tooth and nail for what is FAIR and be prepared to bargain for everything else .

The times have changed , you are simply too slow to understand what’s happening .

Freedom:

Another idea just popped into my head that you might like. How
bout going to the east benifits program ASAP?

I know you can't speak for RR but just in your own opinion is
he anywhere near the same page as you?

.

You don't VOTE.............You have no right to cry about who's making decisions...............

Freedom,

There are Managment jobs open for you in Philly and else where across the system. Its obvious your with them and not us so make the the jump now you have made your bed with them.

Parker could use a person of your "management skills" you make all of us in fleet service sick.

No the order of things to give up goes like this

First you give up paid holidays

Then vacation

Then sick policy

And finally at the last then pay …..

How far down you go on that list simply depends on how desperate the times are … I personally can’t see us going beyond paid holidays … we might return our sick policy to the way it used to be if the company returns our 19 field stations to us .

i have no idea what RR views are , most likely not along the same as mine ... if push does come to shove and the company comes to us , he will handle things better than anyone out there could ever do .

don't get too worried , maybe i'm wrong and none of this will ever happen .

IAM Transition Agreement
Page 5
Article 7 (Seniority) Bullet point 2

All Employees who are currently working at any station under the Interim Transition Agreement on the first day of the first pay period following ratification will be placed on the pay scale consistent with their US Airways pay seniority on date of furlough.

Definite no,

That door was closed a couple of weeks ago.

Sorry

Don't know if you realize it or not but we have not "gotten out of our BK contracts", the union and the COMPANY negotiated their way into new agreements. It was not a given!! You negotiate a contract, you live with it!!

Do you own a house? FIXED rate mortgage? When interest rate go up or down can the bank change the rate? Doubt it!!!

How many years have you worked for the company???????

To be honest , if there are concessions , fleet will most likely only have to make “token “concessions as that we didn’t make THAT much progress ….

Freedom...

I have two publications that I would like for you to purchase, and read in their entirety.
Keep these reference manuals handy for future posting inspiration!

They are…

1)“Center of the Cycloneâ€￾: By John C. Lilly MD: Random House Value Publishing (March 20, 1985)

2) “The Electric Kool-Aid Acid Testâ€￾: By Tom Wolfe, Published by Farrar, Straus and Giroux 1968

Necigrad, let us know what is happening and why hasn't JM done a da*n thing about it????? What the hell?

I found out about this yesterday afternoon. I'm off today, so I don't know whats up. I also dont' see JM very often, he's apparantly allergic to the air that's outside of the bagroom or something, and rarely goes to all the work areas on property. I should also stress that what I had heard yesterday was RUMOR. I've heard things on this board that tell me otherwise, but, no respect intended, this is the internet, and that makes it slightly suspicious (though believe it's actually true).

Don’t think what I’m saying applies ONLY to fleet , I believe that EVERY union on the property that has gotten out of their BK contracts will return to them or willingly make concessions of some sort ….

I'm sorry. What workgroup got out of a BK contract?
