They only posted the info a couple of days ago. Is on orange paper handing by the breakrooms on the union bulletin boards. Except on the A side where someone tore it down because of Ron Roths added propaganda about why we shouldn't vote for the ND08 team. Not many in PHX know aout the vote which is a good thing since I believe there are a lot of RC vote here. Maybe Randy screwed himself by not making us aware of the elections.

He's coming around the breakroom with purple cards now with all of the people's names on it he supports. We should vote for them because "they are the people that got us our contract!"

Hey guy, pardon my ignorance again, but being that I'm at a station no bigger than a shoe box, I don't get to be in the loop like my hubs brothers/sisters.
What is this new direction team going to do? The contract was signed and voted in... What else is left? We're locked in for years to come, right? So what's this new team going to do for us? Are they going to change anything? I'm totally not being a smart ###, but I just want to know what the difference is going to be? We never even got voting cards for this new direction stuff. Not that our 12 votes would matter... Someone inform me, por favor.

I've looked at the site a few times, but I still dont know what is going to happen when these guys are voted in. Yes, we'll have new leadership, great. from what it sounds like, the old guys sucked. I just want the ABC's on what the new direction is going to do right now and why everyone is do looking forward to this change.

My sources in LAS tell me that one of those Trustees positions that you mentioned was fired a couple weeks ago due to an insane number of late shows approaching nearly 100 times. The story goes that "Opie" was given all the verbal, written and a few corrective action warnings and he still continued to come to work over an hour late regularly.

Don't cash this ticket too quickly.

No one can jump to soon. If you are covered by FMLA, which I am stating by example because I don't know his situation, all 100 occurances are covered by Federal Law even if they are taken 1 hour at a time. This is called Intermittant Leave. Don't slam anyone unless you know first hand. If the company did this to help Canale, the Feds will issue heavy fines.

Ron Roth is on his ticket and would not use my services until recently after my asking numerous times over the last 2 years. Ron would come and ask me for advice from time to time over the last 2 years and I was professional and helped all I could but he would not use me as a steward. Other high ranking IAM Canale supporters were approached about me being involved and not one got me involved. So, today no incumbent received my support.

Like I posted earlier most of PHX still doesn't even know elections are being held today. They got there raise and unfortunately that's all they care about. But IMO Im gald they're clueless about the vote since Randy is all they know and Im sure would get their votes.

I myself am unable to vote since I had picked up a double today and my chances of getting out of here to do so are slim and none.

Your company is not a stand alone carrier and needed United airlines. Now there are reports about liquidation later this year. I think fleet service needs Randy Canale more now than ever. Things will get difficult for US AIRWAYS and they will have to demonstrate that they can achieve concessions before an investor will invest. Delaney is more of a hard liner and it may be difficult for him to open up your contract for additional concessions. Such a position may risk liquidation.

Can anybody tell me why I didn't get a 2 year raise, and just a year raise? I transfered from Pax svc to ramp in June 07, was hired in mar 06.

I get different answers from everybody, and this leads me to believe there is no official rule, and I feel I should grieve.
