PHX Vote,

Randy Canale did NOT get my support today because he has not been a part of PHX. Ron Roth is on his ticket and would not use my services until recently after my asking numerous times over the last 2 years. Ron would come and ask me for advice from time to time over the last 2 years and I was professional and helped all I could but he would not use me as a steward. Other high ranking IAM Canale supporters were approached about me being involved and not one got me involved. So, today no incumbent received my support.

Don't quite understand why they wouldn't want to have you on there side. Why because you were a former TWU rep.

for god sakes. A good UNION man is hard to find . SO what if he raised a different flag. That's the short sided mindset of the old regime

ORD must have had an unbelievable turnout. Word has it that ORD might have exceeded the 2000 number. The turnout for the ND08 team was phenomenal. I won't even attempt to forcast the numbers.

edit*** ORD turned out between 1500 and 1600*** sorry for the over enthusiasm!

PHL had an outstanding turnout. Around 800 turned out to vote. A few minutes ago the atmosphere in PHL seemed to be a party. I was informed that Randys team would be lucky to reach 40 if enough retirees turned up. Randy's slate cards littered the outside of the Lodge - nuf said -

Randys stronghold, IAD was a reported bust.........for Randy........word has it they had to drag 170 people to the polls to vote.

PHX was unique in that only about 100 reportadly showed up. Randy must have either forgotten to tell themwhere and when to vote when he was there on his soap box.....or he didn't impress them.

I hope the numbers will come out before midnight!

P. REZ, any leads on the outcome of PHX?

Can anybody tell me why I didn't get a 2 year raise, and just a year raise? I transfered from Pax svc to ramp in June 07, was hired in mar 06.

I get different answers from everybody, and this leads me to believe there is no official rule, and I feel I should grieve.

If you were in C/S you will lose that time your seniority is based on FLeet service. that may answer your pay question.

Reports out of JFK say that they ran out of ballots. Tallys from the 400 mark destroy what they imagined their turnout would be. 90% will be pro ND08.

The IAM Constitution governs the International. I don't even know if that kind of change could ever pass at a Grand Lodge Convention. It for sure would not be put to the floor this year. That means the next opportunity will be 4 years down the road with allot of politickin'.

If your folks are LL1725 members travelin' out to SAN, make sure they go to the CLT local and get statement that they are members in good standing with a seal.
