Maybe I am being picky here, but I didn't see much in the way of qualifications for those mentioned, and I even know some of them to be decent people.
I guess my point being, while there an agenda and seemingly nice enough and well-intention enough people on the New Directions slate, that doesn't mean they know what they are doing (not to say the IAM All-Star Team has impressed me all that much either in the past two years).
Mashing bags doesn't an effective experience make. How about something about their backgrounds? Education? Training as it relates to their desired positions? Work experience? I don't think this is being unreasonable as I hope this election does not get down to being a popularity contest with bright promises followed by dismal performances.
So Opines Jester.
Jester, what you say is true, mashing bags doesn't effective experience make. But then again, it is better than sucking up to the current leadership regime which is how most of the current group of Canale cronies got their jobs. PF and BC and others at the US side of the District just were better at sucking up and being in the right place (called PHL) when Canale needed PHL's vote. All those guys knew before that was how to be thugs and muscle. If you do not believe me, ask the TWU after the PHL 22 got to them.
JM was the best guy we had, but it took Canale seeing he needed BOS votes to get him placed near the negotiations table. Canale then saw he needed more votes to put through the contract so he made BDL a Class One city. I do not remember their flight amounts then, but they currently would not be Class One. He made them Class One to buy votes.
