700, your 'facts' are obviously second hand. Some of the stuff you said is true and I stand by it and my actions 100%, but some of what you said is 100% untrue. I could say you're lying since I've already asked you to check with the right people to get the right answer, but I just think you're convinced that your sources are accurate. You've never spoken one word to me personally but you should if you are going to libel me again and again. Don't worry, no threat, I'm not going to sue ya but you are 100% wrong on some of these things you mention about me. Nonetheless, I think it was the poster called 'shocker' who asked in a more sensible way, without attacking, why my position changed and I am willing to work to make changes within the IAM as opposed without the IAM. Good questions indeed and worthy of answers. However, I'm going to enjoy breakfast with my son and a cup of coffee right now but when I come back I'll engage in that conversation.I did not bash anyone.
I stated history of a posters practice about unions.
I did not insult nor call him names, I posted factual history.
And it was a direct reply to postings on the previous thread about District Bylaws and another poster who asked about his previous non-support of the IAM and current support.
700, I resigned from my Local Chairman position a few years back. Nothing barred me from reclaiming the position. I reclaimed if already and that set off Boss Canale so he sent a goofy letter to the company trying to get the company to recognize or install one of his boys that has never even been to a local in his life. Canale failed in achieving this as my Local backed me. An INTL guy was sent in last week and he agreed with my local that Canale's and Liberace's claim was 'baseless'. It was no more than a personal attack against me but Canale can't intimidate me one bit. I only fear the Lord. The DL President doesnt have the authority to change the bylaws.
Bylaw changes are submitted by the membership at a local lodge meeting, they vote on sending the proposed change to the District to be voted on at the District's Annual Convention.
Tim has started several unions over history.
His first union he tried to setup filed short on cards with the NMB back in very early 1990 and caused a one year bar on organizing, during that time the company decimated the non-union workers.
Then he tried to work for the IBT and they turned him down.
Then he setup Fleet Service Workers United and failed once again to get enough cards to file for an election.
Then he setup the Allied Ground Workers and tried to raid the IAM at US and the TWU at AA.
Then he tried once again on getting the IBT and IBEW to raid the IAM at US.
He was tried and convicted of dual unionism and removed from Local Chairman at ORD, and barred from holding office for a period of time and fined, until he pays his fine he cant hold office.
He tried to work with the TWU on getting a vote at US, once the DFW TWU local lodge President was informed he notified the PHX TWU Local and they stopped using Tim to help them in their campaign.
Funny how when US tried to fire Tim for his posting a call for a work slowdown on the Web Page "The Big Picture" the IAM saved him from being fired.
People are right to question his motives as his track record speaks for itself.
