Waiting for my meeting but heard from 3 different people in 3 different areas we are going to be provided 5 black t-shirts and it is going to be mandatory to wear that only and we have to wash them. Anyone else hearing this?

Heard each dept ( CAM, HGRs, PALM) may get different colors.

That will fix everything!!!
They never think things through before that implement.

Hell, if they would just enforce the CURRENT rules, there wouldnt be a problem. Instead they make new rules to not enforce.

I heard it was gonna be orange jumpsuits.

no kidding, we just had ours said everyone on base will wear black shirts starting end of September except management, lol.

What is the punishment for wearing a T shirt of the wrong color?

Probably send you home. But I'm sure we will find out soon enough

Heard it straight from Dale Danker this afternoon. He has told the company that if they are going to issue uniforms they will have to launder them. He also gave them an idea of how much this would cost and they have shelved that idea for now.

Nice. Black t-shirts in the summer heat and humidity of Tulsa will be fun.

They don't launder required uniforms for line Mx?

Do a lot of the mechanics work outside in the sun in Tulsa? I thought the hangars were there to provide shade for most of the employees. In the shade, the color of the shirt doesn't matter. Only if you're out in the sun would a black shirt be less comfortable than, say, a white one.

Can`t say. I have not worked there in 20 years. If anything they should get the same unis as the line guys. BTW, here at ol` DWH we spend a considerable time working outside. No talk of uniforms or break whistles here, not yet anyway.
