Watch the " Can't take the heat in the Desert" series filmed when Bradford visited the west early on. Uncontrolled fury and unchecked anger. Retaining the Founder makes perfect sense to cement the fact the west is neutered politically.
The Nicolau was thwarted due to his efforts. Cannot speak to his recent activity, but you should thank him every passing day for getting ALPA off your backs.
Bradfords' early effort and Marty Harpers' inept legal maneuverings have stopped the Nicolau dead.

I am very thankful for what Bradford did.

If I recall correctly he made a prophetic post on the old ALPA board the day Nic came out.... "Decertify" was the only word. I wish I had taken a picture of it!

Needles to say I would happily contribute to a new founders van for him. The West seems to remember his van down by some river just as much as they remember him. 😀

This censorship is one of the reasons the BPR took this desperate measure. If you elect Reps and they are not allowed to communicate with you when it does not suit Gary's purpose, why have them? Why elect them? Why have a union at all? Rename the whole thing HALPA (Hummel's Airline Pilots Association).

Do we continue to make the same mistakes again and again by letting a few (ALPA's roll-call) or in this case one person decide our future?  Complaining about the "crappy deal" we got because we didn't live up to the ideals that this union was founded on will be 'on us' unless we take it back.  That big retro check we will get?  It is in spite of Gary Hummel's efforts and that is all you need to remember.  It took the BPR to get us that check.

Fair is fair. Enough with the money collections from both sides. I don't want some politicians taking my money to manipulate the outcome of the vote. I pay dues. Send me my ballot. Shut up with the donations crap. Let the players collect it and crow about their glorious manipulations after the fact.

Let the members vote and raise their nose and sneer at players who seek to hoist gullible members as trophies. If I have time to get around to it I will tell you what I really think. 😀

I wouldn't guess Bradford for the type to capitulate to whatever Silver invents as the last word.

I don't think the West cares either way. USAPA has been an embarrassement to the West pilot group. A third were too disgusted to join the association. They see the dysfunction that's going on now and are ready to move on to the APA.
 
Bradford is not a big topic of discusssion, rather it's the dysfunctionional East.

I was wondering how long after the POR it would be for USAPA to do something that will allow the new american CEO to truly response to these a$$hats.

The only arguable error in my earlier observation was in not giving full points to snap for the obviously correct inclusion of both "west group" and "embarrassment" together in the same sentence.

You guys have been fascinated with DH pay for years. For a lot of us, the old DH pay system worked well and for most it came out in the wash with rigs. The pay no credit added thousands to my pay this year.
 
We are getting 100% pay now, but it is still no credit. That's great for reserves and guys that want it above the pay cap.

I have been very quiet here since summer, however read nearly all post on pilot thread.
I understand what your saying and don't deny you may be right.
That said, I do read all material USAPA provides AND I went to Phl base meeting in November .
I know and recognize that few are immune from emotion based decisions based on false info
( myself included ). So what am I to do?

Conclue the " truth" on :
1-past performance of poster/USAPA author
2-the poster who is most derogatory of differing opinion
3-quantity / # of post by an individual
4- an unbiased arbitrator
5- combination of 1-4

I just Paypal $ for GH recall.
I am not persuaded enuf to vote recall of SB, however quite unsettled by his seemingly compliance with all GH does.

It is quite obvious that all 6 BPR and ALL ( 50 or so ) were unanimous in not trusting GH at meeting. The only NO vote to recall was GH at meeting .
Last I checked the majority of USAPA pilots are represented by the clt/Phl reps who made a totally convincing case of GH leadership style/errors and how they are contrary to our constitution . He alone refutes all and twist all words ( with our paid atty ) following his every command it seems.

To be honest and strait forward , I did not vote for GH or mou and campaigned against both.

I recognize that RR has an insider knowledge base and I do not.
That said......am sick and tired of being told I lack the big pic / uninformed / malcontent / stupid / ungrateful / etc etc etc from his kind on this board.

I have no " truth " on GH actual motives but I despised his stubbornness and " above me " attitude displayed at meeting.

I choose NOT to acquiesce to RR FUD over recalling GH.

It seems to me that you would be embarrassed by some of those quotes. I wouldn't put them in public.
