I see....

Death by brochure.

I'll bet the IRS has your address.

You better run for that tin foil Captian hat, disconnect the phone and head for the Kaczynski cabin in Idaho. That would be Ted's cabin, the guy from Chicago.

Do you remember him from the wellness center? He's not well.
He might want to go to the cabin in New Hampshire with a ladder to help the Captain on the lake.

I have the New Hampshire address of a "Captain" who buys worthless trademarks.

Can you post it, I'd like to send him some new shoes.

They might lift the little guy's spirits.

Another scenario on top of scenario! Lets say you run out of gas on your go-around and nobody makes it into the morning, see ya in hell I guess! Just more barriers!
Look, I know that you know better. The FARs set a minimum standard. Company policy, procedures and good CRM are designed to increase the margin of safety. Cockpit experience and judgement should provide yet another layer of safety and that asset is not the sole domain of the left seat. I already mentioned imminent fuel exhaustion as an exception. You are endorsing ignoring the second pilot because the capt knows better at all times. That smacks of the old and discredited notion that the captain is flying solo and the F/O is there only to yank gear.

You are one of the most outspoken advocates of DOH on this board. Yet you endorse ignoring the experience of that 20 year veteran when he/she tells you to go around because you are the captain.

Over and out.

Very respectful, I like it!
I'll bet you do.

That's because you DEMAND respect. Not because you earned it.

Isn't that right, Captain?

Like the west pilots and their sordid history.  Like the west pilots demanding the ill-fated nic and it's windfall.

You will never have the respect nor the nic and it is tearing you apart.  So near, yet so far away.

Kind of like your career in the Onion and your DOH success with Homer up there^^^
