Well that's just great.  Our insurance costs in the east are going up and the PIC loses.  Money well spent.

And breeze can't post to save his life.
What was posted had nothing to do with PIC...

Apologies Eastholes, I missed the opportunity to Congratulate you on your 3300 days on LOA 93. How rude of me. Happy Three Thousand Three Hundredth day at the bottom of an Industry that has completely ignored you and left you in the dust. Well done.

The first flight for America West Airlines took place on August 1, 1983.  Congrats west pilots on your recent 11,000 days on the bottom of the industry pilot pay.

I know some here are arguing for the sake of arguing. I understand given the climate. But there should be no disagreement among us on this issue.

Just put yourself in the right seat. It's a dark night in IMC conditions and you are approaching minimums when you realize, for whatever reason, that the gear is still up. You shout 'go around' and the captain replies, 'it's okay, runway in sight'.

Your move.

I believe the thread was about F/O authority to eject an East JS rider, which morphed into F/O authority to command a go-around.

This debate is what apples are to oranges.

To keep it apples to apples, the more proper debate would be: The F/O has the authority to eject East pilots from the Jumpseat, just as he also has the authority to reject landings when the Captain accepts an approach to any runway landing east.

In both these scenarios the F/O needs serious counseling in the absence a rational understanding of when and where these judgments are appropriate.

How is that stunning AWA F/O pay working for ya? Have you compared it to what guys hired at the same time as you at SWA or DL make?

Res is Winning!

We've been making more than the usair pilots for 3300 days and will continue to do so for the foreseeable future.

Especial more than those usair pilots out on disability, looking out over the lake or at desert cactus.

So you do not sense the height of your hypocricy when you mention 3300 days, while you have been lowest paid for 11,000 days?  west mindset.

Much better than the FO pay on the east.
FO's are becoming Captains on the East. Captain's are becoming block holders and getting on the widebodies.

west pilots have been stagnant.  PBGC sir, please do the math.

Still own my original shares.  My AWA stock became the New US Airways stock, what happened to the old usair stock?
You didn't sell out when it was 50+ like Doug and his crew did with their converted shares?

More of that stunning west thinking. Even if that were so, that's not winning when you look at the rest of the industry. But, I doubt your 9 year reserve AB F/Os are making as much as out 76I and A330 F/Os.
