Tell Ted and Barb to read the 10K. The only LEGAL document that matters. You and yours are dunba$$e$....in the vernacular of Res.

Thanks to this merger, I wipe my feet on a doorrmat called USAPA when I walk in my house.

End of ALPA, I've bad got news, the merge spells the end of USAPA.

I'm not going to sit idly by and watch as pilots who brought jobs to the acquistion are replaced by pilots who were not flying at the time of the acquisitioin. That's the way the arbitrator saw it after your side made that very argument.

Maybe you missed it the first time. You will not get DOH.
Maybe you missed it... neither will you get the NIC

Oh Boo Hoo... but they kept the disastrous NIC at bay... if nothing else.

"During the American Revolution, British troops occupied the village of Charlotte for a short time. The patriot militia and general population harassed the occupiers so effectively that the British commander tagged Charlotte and the surrounding area "a damned hornet's nest of rebellion."

Those pesky little "Spartans" have managed to keep DOH off our property, doggged you and frustrated you for years.

Like the British, USAPA will leave Charlotte in defeat.

Snap you are incorrect,

I was in the Mechanic and Related Negotiating Committee in 2004-2005 during Chapter 11 part 2.

US meaning Lakefield, proposed the merger and raised the funds.

HP had NO money to put towards the merger.

Hey, so exciting!! I had another dream:

West Class Rep: “We believe any starting point for this merger of lists with APA should start with the NIC.”

M/B Arbitrator(s):  “I have to ask, are you aware the other two parties have agreed on a list using DOH, one that uses fences and restrictions to protect pilots where they are, and allow all parties (including the pilots you represent) to share in both narrow and wide body growth flying at the new AMR?  I want to make sure what your argument is.  You want me to disregard this proposal, and start over with the premise the East already has a combined list?  I see you are also asking for the ability for all your pilots to access wide bodies already on the property at both AMR and U, including the 777s. Even the East party has not asked for that.  They are only asking for what they brought to merger, and to share in new growth.  What makes the West Class deserve such a windfall?”

West Class Rep: “You all must understand. By our own hard work and personal donations of 10M dollars each the Company, we allowed AWA to both “save” US Airways, and then AMR.  We are an exceptional group deserving of super seniority and the ability to fly all wide body aircraft already on the property of both airlines.  To say again, we are a very, very special group of pilots, having led the industry in pay and benefits since our inception.”

Arbitrator(s):  “We will get back to you with our decision.”

We'll have to agree to disagree as we have in the past.

Why didn't Lakefield raise the funds to pull US Airways out of the hole independent of a mergre with HP?

However it happened, the arbitrator looked at your argument and the West pilot arguments and came to the conclusion that one company was healthier than the other.

What arbitrator? Has there been an arbitrated decision of any kind presented to management by USAPA? Has one list been voted on? If not,  will a combined list be voted on prior to 9 December?  Sorry, I don't see it happening. RR

Let's see if the East will be able to take over operations, the training department, throw out the pilot's union like they did at AWA. The result was West furloughs, East recalls and growth.

AMR should look at what happened here and be concerned about their positions and decisions made by these people which may be repeated.

One thing is for sure, whether it's East management or union, they earned my mistrust.

The nightmare of pending Chapter 7 and job loss for some has turned into a reversal of fortune for others who saw growth and hiring halted in 2005.
