Yup, APA and the West - soon to be best buds.

I bet APA's seniority integration goals are more aligned with the West than East, i.e. category and status vs LOS.

I still would like someone, anyone to come forward who was harmed by a Leonidas mailing.
Does a paper cut count? To be fair it was the cheap envelope that did it not the pretty brochure on the very nice paper.

The 60 day comment period does not prohibit consummation of the merger.  The company has indicated they intend to execute the POR during the week of 12/9-12/13.

Good to see you again Tiger. I hope life's treating you and yours well. 🙂

Side issue, while considering a new toy...well, admitttedly from "childhood" days as an ahem, laughably "mid"-life (assuming longevity of 120+) replacement. 😉

Whatcha' think?

PS: A few years ago, you had mentioned selling your Triumph mount. I do hope that's since changed for the better, or at worst, will change very soon. Much is reasonably to be hoped for with this new merger methinks.

I'll help you out.  Upon the effective date of the MOU, the "scabs" you hold so dear will spend a portion of your money seeking a fair and equitable SLI with APA, without regard to the 2005 TA, as a majority of the membership requested... 🙂 and some of your Leonidas, LLC leaders knew this.
Let me help you out.

The company is paying for the SLI according to the MOU. Also, according to the MOU the APA will pettion the NMB for single carrier status within 4 months, I doubt they wait 4 days.

You can bet your bottom dollar that the SLI will be fair and equitable as required by federal law under McCaskill/Bond.

Hmmmm.......

Bye bye uscaba....post your bond with the court!

You just figured that out... today?

Whoopteedoo for "the company"...and just how well are your kneepads holding up lately? Heaven knows they've very high mileage on 'em, unless frequently replaced...? 😉

Nic,

You're setting yourself up for a big disappointment. Number one, the APA will never be your friend. They will try to screw you anyway they can to protect the majority. They are not scared in the least about a law suit from some commuter pilots in PHX. Their position on integration will be that the west pilots are narrow body only pilots and should be slotted in with the east and APA narrow body pilots. Your save Dave will be slotted just below the new hire that was in the PHX crew news last week talking to Kirby. According to you that would be fair.

You think your mad at the east, you haven't seen anything yet. APA will crush you.

Gasp! Nonsense sir! The APA will unquestionably welcome all self-styled "spartans" with open arms, immediately agree that any/all westies, due solely to their being such incredibly "special" people, should be given "seniority" placing them alongside APA pilots with 16-17 more years worked...etc...ad nauseum. Just ask any "soldier" in the "army of leonidas". 🙂

That is not what I'm saying. What I am saying is that either the BK judge or the DC circuit Judge will deter when POR will be. It could very well be later in the the first quarter next year. That's all I'm saying....

Hi East!  Unfortunately I had to sell the Triumph when furlough showed up at my door.  It's no biggy though as I believe I greatly reduced my "near death" experiences.  LOL!

Boy that Norton looks cool!  It appears the riding position is pretty far back.  With a big twin like that I bet she's likely to get the front wheel off the ground with minimal persuasion.  I have to admit I've been out of the motorcycle world for a while.  I may get back to it again.  We'll see.

I sure hope this merger turns out to be everything I believe it will be...

Amen...and I'll offer up this happy thought as well sir. 🙂 http://www.triumphmotorcycles.com/

And...Not to fly under false colors...I'm still waffling between the Norton and more "socially acceptable" Harley notions for the coming springtime. 😉 Sure did love Norton times in early life though...so..we'll see. They're (Norton) presently only making a relative few of 'em, and last month's inquiry indicated an orders backlog/etc. Many of the wheels available from Dai Nippon far exceed Norton performance, or course, but..it's a purely sentimental thing, I suppose, which, your being a Triumph man, you fully understand. 😉

I'm not sure how you're coming to that conclusion. I could be wrong, but it appears to me to be just a time line for communication and comments. Why this would delay the POR i am not sure.
