I never had used Twitter before this but it's pretty cool.
Had that Jason Whitley up and was seeing his live tweets..
he gives live recap while it's happening.
Never thought of a reason twitter was any good, but this explains it.

How did she become the senior judge, a position she held until September?

District Judge Roslyn O. Silver was named the new chief judge after the former chief, U.S. District Judge John Roll, was murdered during the shooting tragedy in Tucson.

It wouldn't matter if Judge Roll was hit by a bus, got shot by a jealous husband or died in his sleep of old age, his replacement was determined by the DOH of the next most "senior" in line.  See how that works?, or do you have a problem with that concept?

Pilots were on furlough at the time of acquisition will not be permitted to go ahead of actively flying pilots.

Since you aren't getting DOH and DOH is not used in an era of MB, your point is moot.

Please cite the specific sections of federal laws that would make your statements true, as opposed to simply being your typical flights of fancy.

Trader likes to bring up previous SLIs. The UA/CO SLI and many in the past did just that. Nicolau should have, we wouldn't have been here.

Who died and left you in charge? The furloughed pilots deserve credit for their time in service. They didn't bump "Save Dave" from anything so there is no reason not to give them something for the time they were active. Using your logic, the West pilots on furlough go to the bottom of any list you can think of. I don't know if they have returned to work or not but I am pretty sure if they haven't, it's because they don't want to.

Also, I am not sure why West pilots that accepted recall to the East were not given there West LOS.

Symbolic?  Really?  That's your best shot?

You see the change in a CBA by election as symbolic?

Wow!  That's an interesting delusion.

What did the new CBA accomplish other than delaying resolution of the Nicolau Award?

As I said, symbolic, your box of gold stars is in the mail.

Neither UA nor CO were bankrupt facing possible liquidation.

Because that's the way the TA ( and every other TA out there) structured it. Before a joint contract, before a joint seniority list - pilots accepting recall during separate ops go in as new hires.

The West put East furloughs at the bottom of their list why should they expect any different in return?

Very shortly, APA and USAPA will negotiate a seniority integration protocol, "according to the terms of the MOU" (where did we hear that before?).. Snappy's fantasy may well be in the cards, or not.

Would we have liquidated without the merger?
I don't know, I don't have a crystal ball. You don't either and all we could do would be to  lay odds. Does every one of your stock picks do what you think it will/

All that is beside the point. The merger changed the picture for both airlines and put us on a track to be a part of the largest airline in the world. Little chance of that pre-2005 for any of us. So why should the west pilots get a windfall from that?

And, we've been over this a million times. My point was that you like to talk about other SLIs and a recent SLI, and many in the past, put furloughed pilots ahead of active even if Nic didn't.
