The fact is any orders placed at AA prior to 2005 were history sans merger.

Kind of like the fact that USCABA is history with this merger. The funny thing about the uscaba "cowards", is they think they still have 18 months left. Can't stop laughing......!!
The FACT IS that without the merger AWA at best would have be a minor feeder for SWA in PHX, with furloughs and at least a third of the fleet gone, in BK and quite possibly facing the same situation of DIP financing blowing your so-called "career expectations" out of the water.  You keep seeing yourself in the mirror as having any resemblance of class when in reality it's "mirror, mirror, on the wall, why am I the scabbiest one of all"?  Why, AOL....of course.  That's why.

My DOH and length of service ARE the same.  If you've never been furloughed then they are the same.  West pilots didn't want LOS because furloughed pilots being recalled East still had a lot more LENGTH OF SERVICE coming back, under their belts than most of the bottom of the Westie list.  And that is really the problem YOU had with all of it.  Need me to "pull the tapes"?
So you're saying in the arbitration you pushed for LOS? Would you like me to pull the tapes?

Yes, and US Airways would be a footnote in Wikipedia. Your point is?

Completely agree....
USAPA=SCAB......
"forever".
Have a nice Nic inclusive career!
The Nicolau list was easily sidestepped. There will not be a list of this kind at all.
Merry Christmas. No Saint Nic.

The arbitration doesn't exist anymore, except in your minds. The FACT is AWA (aka YOU) never thought of us as "equals" because in your minds we were valueless. ALPA merger policy and Nicolau granted management the greatest gift that keeps on giving....and will continue to give when open skies gets here. Siri Lanka pilots fly your equipment. Hope you're happy. I am.

Yes and no.  Its currents status is conditionally a nullity.  Tomorrow is fast approaching...

Soon it will be much like Wake's injunction from a legal standpoint, but unlike Wake's injunction that is dead and gone forever, technically we could still choose to use the Nic list even though there will no longer be any contractual obligation whatsoever to use it.

I am not sure if there will be a special award ceremony for the west pilots that were in new hire class 2003, 2004, in recognition of them saving the East US Airways pilots and American pilots airline. (sarcasm)

But yet you think APA cares about the internal order of our seniority list.

They don't.
Actually, they do when they see a younger age pilot that will be a permanent block to advancement.

Conventional wisdom. When the presence of the west is scarce, an unfavorable ruling is imminent.

Regardless, if a ruling is unfavorable to the East, if there is not an appeal filed, hummel is recalled.
The appeal will then be filed asap.

.... in the school of hard knocks (general aviation). One of my classmates got hired by United with a private license in 1967..

No offense to any of that Bob, but per "hard knocks (general aviation)" in 1967?....Far more severe "hard knocks" were ongoing at that time...which is why airlines like UAL then had trouble filling front seats. AWA never had any excuse for what they hired from '83 forward.

PS: Understood on school to some extent. During high school?....I felt like I'd been stuck into general prison population, without even the possibility of a plea bargain. 😉
