Yeah.  You saw Parity +1% with Delta in 2002.  How did THAT work out for you?

For one month it worked great, hope this time it lasts longer.

American Airlines did not have to give back any PHX slots in their latest merger? Whew...................................///////////////////////,,,,,,,,,,,,,,

American Pilots, the follwing west pilot PHX based pilots evidence, will chill your bones.  (sarcasm)  Give up now APA pilots, trust me.   (sarcasm)

APA pilots, a suggestion.  Any thing you try to move through doug parker has to go through an america west pilot named russ webber.  He is the under covers (pun intended) pilot you will have to deal with.  russ, thanks for taking one for the team.

APA, another tid bit.

There are two 2003 hires that run the show at america west. Fergusen (aka fergie) and mitch vasin (aka your seniority east boys, mitch vasalino).

You may move way up to talk to the kingpin of the west pilots, johnny mcllvania from transyvania.,   He is a 1999 hire, do not press your luck.

I'll see parity with Delta, you won't.  😀
Yep! And it is possible that parity could occur if Delta takes a pay cut.I think "parity" can be a double deged sword.

Phoenix,

I have been very quiet here since summer, however read nearly all post on pilot thread.
I understand what your saying and don't deny you may be right.
That said, I do read all material USAPA provides AND I went to Phl base meeting in November .
I know and recognize that few are immune from emotion based decisions based on false info
( myself included ). So what am I to do?

Conclue the " truth" on :
1-past performance of poster/USAPA author
2-the poster who is most derogatory of differing opinion
3-quantity / # of post by an individual
4- an unbiased arbitrator
5- combination of 1-4

I just Paypal $ for GH recall.
I am not persuaded enuf to vote recall of SB, however quite unsettled by his seemingly compliance with all GH does.

It is quite obvious that all 6 BPR and ALL ( 50 or so ) were unanimous in not trusting GH at meeting. The only NO vote to recall was GH at meeting .
Last I checked the majority of USAPA pilots are represented by the clt/Phl reps who made a totally convincing case of GH leadership style/errors and how they are contrary to our constitution . He alone refutes all and twist all words ( with our paid atty ) following his every command it seems.

To be honest and strait forward , I did not vote for GH or mou and campaigned against both.

I recognize that RR has an insider knowledge base and I do not.
That said......am sick and tired of being told I lack the big pic / uninformed / malcontent / stupid / ungrateful / etc etc etc from his kind on this board.

I have no " truth " on GH actual motives but I despised his stubbornness and " above me " attitude displayed at meeting.

I choose NOT to acquiesce to RR FUD over recalling GH.

I hope my opinion helps.

FA
The alpa leadership "big picture" attitude is why we were not allowed to vote on our pension give away.

Thanks for making my point Bob.  Green book not amendable till END of 2019.  Pay increases up until then are still below Delta/SWA.  The only way they can compete now is lower pay scales for them.

Do we continue to make the same mistakes again and again by letting a few (ALPA's roll-call) or in this case one person decide our future?  Complaining about the "crappy deal" we got because we didn't live up to the ideals that this union was founded on will be 'on us' unless we take it back.  That big retro check we will get?  It is in spite of Gary Hummel's efforts and that is all you need to remember.  It took the BPR to get us that check.

In the past Gary has admitted to having secret meetings with the company, the APA and government officials. He's been accused of being so stubborn that he refuses to listen to anyone else and of being a "single pilot" when it comes to union business.  When he was elected he swore to you that he would be different --  transparent --  honest. Instead, he is taken secrecy and possibly double dealing to an all-new height. This is ALPA on steroids because at least the MEC Reps at ALPA could communicate with you freely.    RECALL HUMMEL NOW!!!!!

From your friends at Leonidas LLC:

The company has invited the West Pilot Class to be participants in this meeting. Your nine West Class Representatives have chosen five West pilots to be your West Merger Committee representatives: former PHX Domicile Chairman First Officer David Braid; current Leonidas member and Business Intelligence Committee member, First Officer Johan DeVicq; former ALPA negotiating committee member Captain Doug Dotter; founder of Leonidas First Officer Eric Ferguson; and former ALPA merger committee member Captain Russ Payne. Along with this committee will be the legal team consisting of Polsinelli Attorneys Jennifer Axel and Dr. Andy Jacob along with Marty Harper of Marty Harper, PLLC. It is our understanding from the West Merger Committee that New American and APA will be in attendance at the December 20, 2013 meeting. USAPA has not committed to attend to the best of our knowledge.

I want my own status.

"Leonidas Update December 17, 2013
on

18 December 2013.

As we continue to wait for the results of the Addington II trial, the West Pilot legal team continues to stay busy working to protect your rights. The final pleadings to the case record were submitted on November 6th, and there were numerous post-trial Motions that required briefs to be filed, including those pleadings regarding USAPA and Airways’ Motions for Summary Judgment. All of these relevant filings can be found on the public access Leonidas Web site at cactuspilot.com

We are charging toward a final solution to the conflict that has plagued us for so many years, but there is still much work to be done. The merger of American and US Airways was consummated last Monday, December 9th finalizing the Plan of Reorganization or POR. The MOU specifies a thirty day “Protocol Period” to begin on the POR date so the thirty day clock is ticking right now. New American has called for a meeting of the pilot parties to the McCaskill-Bond process outlined in the MOU for this Friday, December 20th in Washington, D.C. to discuss the Protocol Agreement.

The West Merger Committee members all have an outstanding history of West Pilot advocacy and experience, and we are proud to announce their willingness to serve the pilot group in such an important role.

We will provide updates as events unfold during the coming weeks and months, and we thank you for your desire to stay informed.

Sincerely,

Leonidas, LLC "

Section 26-I (India) of our contract clearly stipulates that the company will pay the salary of the union president. This means that Hummel - as well as Cleary, Bradford, Stephan and Pollock before him - were also paid by the company. I expect to find the same arrangement within previous contracts.

If Hummel is selling out the pilots then prove it. Provide documentation, not speculation. Allegations of secret emails, meetings with the west, deals with managment, a future VP position at the New American, do not constitute evidence of wrongdoing. They are simply FUD thrown out by the malcontents. Besides, Cleary met with the west. Pollock was on the board of directors. A future VP who was a former pilot and union president is not necessarily a bad thing.

The previous NAC chairman brought us nothing. The previous president was totally excluded from what was happening behind the scenes. If the malcontents were running the show this past year our December pay would be exactly the same as last December's pay. Just think about that. Kudos to the BPR members who insisted on retro pay, but the MOU came first. Colello did the heavy lifting in crafting the present MOU. In contrast, the malcontents would have us knee deep waiting for a resolution to yet another grievance, this time over the 'lucrative and unquestionably ripe' COC lottery ticket. What grade would you give USAPA on grievances?

I'll say it again. USAPA is on final approach to a full stop and termination. It is night, IMC and we are inside the marker. But some malcontents want an S turn in order to replace the PF with someone possibly based in PHX.
