Don't worry 320, the recall vote will indeed happen. What I hear is they are over the top, now trying for a slam dunk. At least 2 of the 3 will indeed be replaced in CLT. Trouble is, ALL of the BPR is failing now, especially looking at the APA proposed contract (if that report is to believed.)

With no MOU, and now no chance of that, the East faces the loss of ALL our widebodies (while still maintaining min fleet.) All will get no increase in pay or retirement contributions, and the eventual loss of our HI and Shuttle flying. Thanks guys for holding out for back pay and a 190 raise (what, 5% of our fleet?) All this work to get a new union up and running, and the BPR could not even listen to its paid help. Instead they follow McKee(Cleary) and his failed angry bird approach.

1/3 of the USAPA pilots (PHX) had NOTHING to gain by pursing the Grievance path the BPR fell in love with.

Since the Caped Marauder is sending me emails leading the charge for the recall.... well maybe I'll have some pity on him and sign the petition so he can finally be correct about something.

Sounds like we all need to start a panic and run in fear and scream Yes Doug, Yes Doug, Yes Doug, while stabbing anyone who fails to immediately profess they have never said "no" to anything, any where, at anytime in history. 🙄

The company doesn't want a contract. That's been proven time and time again.

It's USAPA's job to make giving us a contract the lesser of two evils for the comany but USAPA would rather steal jobs from the West.

I grew up on the east coast. For as long as US Airways existed, as US Air or otherwise, it was considered a crappy airline by those most exposed to it. Not making anything up.

My relatives in upstate New York called US Air's predecessors "Agony Airlines and Slowhawk".

Come off the West teats for a minute and take a look around. We have an injunction against us and the company doesn't want to resume contract talks.

SEE???

You can start nursing again now.

Who put us there and why?

Anyone who disagrees with you and USAPA does so because they're nursing West teat?

It has nothing to do with abiding by a mutually agreed upon arbitration?

Enjoy LOA 93 while you try to rewrite the seniority list, you deserve it.

We al know that the west could have had it all with fences, but they decided to roll the dice with the hope that the east would be willing to vote in a sub-standard contract allowing the west to take east jobs. What were they thinking? Enjoy PHX!

Ummm... The east never offered fences or anything during negotiations, mediation and finally arbitration. Why do you make things up?

Where's my contract big guy?

Are you familiar with the Wye(sp) river meetings? The east hand has always been face up. The west has only themselves to blame.

Last night Phoenix said: "Since the Caped Marauder is sending me emails leading the charge for the recall.... well maybe I'll have some pity on him and sign the petition so he can finally be correct about something."

Please don't sign the petition Phoenix. If you are troubled by the WAY you are getting information (instead of what is being said,) and are joking about "pity" maybe you should just stay out of the process. By the way, too many pilots (myself included for 20 years) stayed at arm's length in disgust with union politics. In fact they often failed to even vote. And as a rule, they have suffered career wise for thumbing their noses at those that at least try to have an influence. There is something wrong in CLT. Maybe the very act of a recall will change behavior (that is the ultimate goal) but doing nothing will get you the exact product you are so used to.

Just post away here instead, the rest of us in CLT will attempt to take care of business.

From the unverified APA contract update, the following AMR proposal and a peek at their plans:

–Last management offer has 95 percent of active pilots offered furlough protection (90 percent in case of a merger)

So, not including the APA guys already on the street, we could lose 10% of our combined ACTIVE pilot group with no furlough protections.

Yikes. Where do you all think those pilots might be based? (PHL, PHX, CLT, DCA) Too bad we don't already have a document already ratified that might protect all PHX and East pilots. While we are holding out for "more" the world is passing us by.
