The company does.

Why would they put themselves in harm's way by negotiating a DOH seniority list without immunity?

I'd say Parker's decision tree will go something like this:

PATH TO MAKING ME CEO OF NEW AA-------IF NOT THAT THEN-------PATH TO CONTINUED COST SAVINGS

I think that's about it. Maybe he will give us a clue about what the company plans today at the crew news. Appeal? Negotiate with USAPA? Negotiate with USAPA but say DOH is a non-starter? Who knows.

I figure nic4us is at home picking out his t shirt so maybe he will let us know what happens.

Agreed, $1B in synergies can eliminate any trouble from a group that can't raise even 0.5% of that to sue. Easy to move on past that.

If you eastholios would use that half a brain you sit on most of the day, you'd be a dangerous bunch.

Have you ever thought as to why the company is working so hard to get the courts to give them immunity? If the Nic wasn't such a big deal, I'm sure the company would have accepted USAPA's DOH list and moved on long ago.

But, alas, they haven't. Because they can't and they know it. What they're doing now is insulating themselves against USAPA's stupidity.

The Nic is a big deal and its the ONLY deal.

Its coming boys. Watch for the appeal as well. That'll show you just how much the Nic is here to stay.
 
This is where usapa and the east logic fails.

You guys are arguing the facts today. The usapa C&BL state unmerged career expectations. We have to go back to the facts that existed at the PID. In 2005 there were 1700 east pilots furloughed.

Trying to argue there are not east furloughed today would be POST merger and against the usapa C&BL and you have all told us how controlling and all powerful that document is.

It is about to start the year 2013. That was 8, EIGHT years ago. It means NOTHING now. We have moved way, way past your little spot in time. You are dreaming if you think anybody is going to play like it is 2005 anymore. That was when you found the lottery ticket. You still can't cash it. It expired.
 
USAPA gives a huge rat's ass about a DFR as does the company. First off, the chances the company accepts your DOH list is nonexistent. Second, even if the list made it into a TA, an injunction would prevent the contract from ever seeing the light of day for years.

Either way, no DOH for you. Never going to happen.

And since I have access to the APA boards, I can tell you for a fact that the APA has no interest in your DOH either.

End of story.

And expect the company's appeal to be filed here in a week or so.

More time in court while you sit on LOA93.
