You are probably mistaken. What will happen will be the combining of the AMR list with the NIc, with three or more "interested parties" contributing testimony to a McCaskill/Bond arbitration board.

Only 2 lists now at present and there will be no McCaskill/Bond, that only comes into play if the 2 parties cannot agree on a list and that is not going to happen so it's DOH with C&R.

The "three-way" referred to by Doug Parker in several crewroom sessions was specifically in response to the pilot SLI issue. The three DOH seniority lists that are currently in use, speak for themselves. How they would be ultimately combined will be the subject of ensuing negotiations between USAirways, APA and USAPA , a possible MB arbitration and rank and file ratification.

I'd gently suggest they'd benefit from a somewhat more extensive philosophy than that. No matter, I suppose. One can only imagine the great depth of spiritual instruction that's possible to pass them over the sounds of an Xbox. I wish them the best of luck in life. I'm afraid they'll need it. Of course..other options are available. You could, for example, actually grow up, gain some education and principles yourself, and actually provide a decent example for them....or at least consider the idea.

Btw: Having a "past" is quite comforting in one's older years. What would have proved personally devastating would have been a life lived as a "never was" 😉

Anyway, I gently suggest to you that you stop living in the past and focus on your future. Stop trying to relive your youth by challenging young pilots to dog fighting. You've had your time and now you need to move on. You need to tell your great grandchildren to focus on what the future can bring, not what you did in the past. If you easties could do that, you'd be a better group of people.

I'd tell you to grow up as well, but you're practically in the grave. Leave these boards and focus on your family - more than likely your second one as most of you east guys lack the morality to follow through with your first vows. Breeze is a great example there.

I believe that is what all you east guys were saying before Nicolau ruled. That it had to go DOH because it had to. Nicolau had no choice. How did that work out for you.

Other than your fantasy idea of fair, why would the APA pilots accept DOH? Age is not a factor in any seniority method. Plus take a look at the attrition at american. It makes the east attrition look like a sick call. So your mighty attrition argument has no merit.

APA is very aware of legal proceedings in the TWA case and our case. There is no way they want to get in the middle and put themselves at risk for inventing a seniority list or C&R. They are going to avoid risk like ALPA did and let a neutral third party decide. That way they will not be liable. That is what serious and intelligent responsible unions do. Avoid costly legal issues. Unlike usapa that dives head first.

USAPA will put the two DOH lists that currently are in use on this property, on the table. Unless of course, by some miracle, an East-West JCBA is ratified prior to an AMR merger.

What might end up being negotiated and or arbitrated is anybody's guess, especially if it ends up being arbitrated. Once the post-merger JCBA gets ratified, the litigation can commence.
