Merger Committee Update

The Merger Committee met in Charlotte last week to work on multiple projects. The Committee spent some time with our merger counsel, Lee Seham, reviewing the proposed Conditions and Restrictions to the seniority list. In conjunction with that effort, the Committee is working to develop the necessary contract language and will be ready to present the Company with a seniority list with Conditions and Restrictions that will create the framework for a durable and binding seniority section of our new contract.
In addition, we are preparing to certify the seniority list, adding all pilots who have been hired since January 1, 2007. With the pilot group potentially facing furloughs, it is extremely important that all pilots hired since January 1, 2007 be personally involved in helping us to verify the accuracy of the Company generated employment data. We will be emailing each of the affected pilots with specific instructions on how you can assure that your employee data is accurate.
