Do you really think SW is going to want the bitter, crap mailing, former ALPA lovers? I think they would rather have a 30 year old RJ captain with no bitter feelings. I hate to break this to you, but you too have the USAir stink on you.

Only the more intelligent ones would. If that number, considering the splendid actions of those involved.... is zero...I'd hardly be surprised. I would personally assume that any "delay" would be done with the hopeful notion of not having to take career-ending actions against your brilliant strategists and their unfortunate pawns out there. While this isn't any major issue that I'm following on any moment to moment basis, I'll assume, from your posting..that nothing was "dismissed" today?..that the AWWAPERS failed to establish even usefull challenges via "Technicalities" and that sufficient merit (to say the least) was determined for the legal proceedings to continue? If that's the case thus far..and you're yet beating your chest....refer to my opening observation good sir.

IF this was but an issue of rescheduling...I'd go with the observation that the east doesn't really want any part of your pathetic little "All out warfare", and instead seeks cooperation between east-west. Perhaps some of you could use a little more time to think on that a bit.

Personally?..I really haven't the slightest desire to see any of you folks fired. I'd be fine with your just upgrading your behavior to levels at least approaching that of what's properly expected from any supposed Professionals.........

Leonidas and his gang of poop-mailing-phone-challenged pilots don't stand a chance. The people in USAPA are far superior in intellectual ability. It has to be tough on Leonidas and AWAPA, I mean dealing with smart people that are steps ahead of you -- no wonder they are doing dumb things -- it's all they know.

Why anyone, especially from the west side, would believe ONE WORD you say is beyond me. I hope you and AWAPPA have really deep pockets.

If I were USAPA, all 118 or whatever the number turns out to be, of you would be the first to hit the bricks in August. I know, I know. They have to fire you all at the same time. Keep believing that if it makes you feel better.

You mean this AWAPPA/Leonidas claim of frivolous charges was, in reality, considered to have merit and it will proceed? I wonder what the next AWAPPA/Leonidas spin will be on this issue?

So how many do we think will take the deal? Most likely none, based on historic behavior of this group. Settling out of court and simply paying for the damages caused is too easy.

But help me out here, Leonidas, why do we care? Your point is???

We differ on that. I hope that the instigators on the west side do not settle and get shown the door. Getting fired in this business pretty much means you're done, as far as being an airline pilot is concerned.

It's unforgivable that a few west people have stirred this up to such a level, precluding the west side from really having any input in their own future.

Actually, at least one did, through a friend of mine. He found the terms quite to his relief.

So, the # is 1, at least.

AWAPPA counseled pilots to hang their tutus on the line and now the pilots might have to pay. USAPA is taking the high road and trying to mend relationships.

Another poster's previously addressed this, but, quite seriously; Why should any out east be further concerned with your difficulties that arose purely from your own insane actions? If you've some strange fantasy that the actions described in the filing are "acceptabe" within the ranks of airline pilots, and wouldn't have any resulting consequences...sheesh!..What can anyone possibly say?
