US Pilots Labor Discussion

Glad I did not upset you. I was just trying to show that there were so many underlying currents, nobody could make heads or tails of who was doing what to whom.

I would not say usapa got lucky at the 9th, more like the 9th screwed us all. Hopefully Silver will not do the same, however, I am concerned she may just say, this has gone on long enough, the company is being harmed, and for the sake of the other 30,000 employees the West minority will just have to suck it up.
It doesn't work like that but net effect is it will.

Good luck.

If Nic would have come in more towards the center???

Sorry, I wasn't clear about that, center of sane and insane, and he was no where near that!

You're not going to convince me he was right, I'm not going to convince you he was wrong. Can we at least agree on that?

i wouldn't be so sure if i were you...i'm a newhire, and want nothing to do with the west!!

Please! The westies (certain ones, that populate this board) know much better what you think and how you feel than you do! They'll convince you, you just wait!

Oh no! How is that possible? Could we really be wrong?

OK, Suge. You are brand new on the block. Congratulations. So a date of hire or Nicolau list is the exact same result (essentially) for you. The only exception is the "HUGE" upgrades when all the geezer's pass away in the east. Are you really willing to work for $60-$100 less an hour for the left seat (assuming that Delta will be negotiating their 3rd or 4th NEW contract when you reach that left seat)?? Meanwhile you will be earning $125 an hour, kissing  Cleary's ring?

Sorry Boss, but that dog won't hunt. It make more sense to me that you are a Mid-Atlantic plant and perhaps even a furloughed AAA pilot hanging on tight to that "gold standard".

To know a Westie, is to love a Westie. BTW, I know a few newhires just in the door. They can't wait for the one year mark of seniority to let the Captain really know how they feel about the Nicolau & the attempted USAPA land grab.

Have a great evening.

See Suge, I told ya. Next time, if you want your opinion ask them what it is first.

Old CB, along with a certain suspended west pilot are going to change USAPA and make everything right with the world. Any day now. Any day now, Any day.............

Sure,

but I am not trying to convince you he was right, I think he got it wrong also, just not the same wrong you think he made.

ummm.....I am really puzzled by this post.

Exactly who do you think you work for? and, how do you think you will be able to avoid the West?

You sound more like the typical east pilot who wants nothing to do with the West, the day after the merger. Of course the day before the merger they were praying it went through.

So, you are telling me, you applied to LCC, in the hopes that you would get hired, then be able to somehow keep the company you just applied to from completeing its pilot integration and merger? Great strategy...umm..exactly what will that gain you?

Well said. Smoking out the actors around here is fun! Who will we meet tomorrow?

Maybe it's another account of Nostradamus. Haven't seen old sumadarson in almost 3 weeks. Maybe he's posting under his other identity. 😉

Hey Nos, if you're out there, this one's for you:

United Pilots: Recall of Up to 200 Pilots ‘Welcome’ News

Chicago, Ill., July 14, 2011--The United pilots today welcomed the company’s announcement of the return of 100 to 200 furloughed pilots. It is the hope of the United Chapter of the Air Line Pilots Association that these recalls are the first of a wave of recalls that will eventually lead to the return of all our 1,437 furloughed pilots.

Weren't you the one crowing about UA furloughing more pilots come December. Guess you were wrong about that one... as usual.
